Matsunaga was digested. I didn't see Washimi or Shinji.. at all.. anywhere.. I don't think those 2 were there. As for Kongo he was wearing all red (check competitor's thread - the picture is hidden there). So who was #97 then?

So we don't know how Takahashi did?
*EDIT* Crap he was wearing red.
Well, this is going to make the guessing game interesting.

Off hand I don't know my pictures when wonky when KeyHole crapped out.. so I'm waiting for the JNet feed. I can check then.

They showed Kitagawa, #96, followed by Terek, #98, so #97 was either cut entirely or one of the digested people, likely Matsunaga. Makes sense if they kept the Pro Sportsman #1 people together.
Also, their numbering system is batshit insane.

That was dumb. Its dumb how you have to avoid things, they should cover anything that can get you disqualified. Cover the bars at least... The guy (Don't know his name srry) should've known that he couldn't do that. Oh well. That was about as bad as Yamada's run, where he fell off the winning platform. If you paid any attention, you'd know he got D/Qed on purpose. I notcied he had no strength left and couldn't pull himself up, which is when he reached for the scafholding so he wouldn't fall. When he got up he didn't wait for them to say he was d/qed, his face showed that he already knew, he was already looking down. And after I mntioned I noticed that, David Campbell confirmed I was right. It was a D/Q on purpose, he had no strength left and didn't want to fall.

Since I don't know Japanese and the angles of the camera's can be confusing, its kinda hard to know, I'm pretty sure I was paying attention kay thanks Its pretty weird though, Im going to go back and watch that part again...

Sorry, that sounded a bit rude.
But yes, David said he d/q'ed intentionally.

Watching it again, it was intentional. He wasn't even touching the Spider Flip by the time the announcer said 'course out.'

OK, I'll make this super clear with pics. (What a shock I'm doing this). Since the topic is marked spoilers I'll just use IMG tags. Now that it's stopped you can look closely to see that his foot is touching the bar, look at his angle and through the supports of the vertical board. This part I don't even have to explain

To me it was clear he didn't want to fall and he knew he was already out so with the last energy he had he used what he had to hoist himself up. So yeah I felt it was intentional.

....yep. I remember that part to. But yeah, this is one of my points in the obstacle thread that one can never really know about one's effects of doing the tournament throughout the day for either still having enough energy or you'll get burned out.
