So I have this cliffhanger ledge in my backyard about 4 feet long or so, and I'm trying to improve my grip strength. Anyone have any good exercises to try on it like pull ups, going back and forth, deadhangs, etc? Maybe some routines or whatever anyone thinks works best. Thanks.

Try doing pull-ups and moving, so essentially do a pullup, traverse a foot or 2 over and do another pulp, continue to do that back and forth, it really helped me strengthen my grip.

IMO the best way to train for the cliffhanger (any variations of it) is to practice it. And if you can do it once then try it twice or even more times (consecutive/feet not allowed to touch the ground or same direction back to back with minimum rest ).
to supplement your training you can do bouldering, campus board training, doing dead hangs at ledges. For dead hangs you could try Geoff Britten's recommendation in the finger strengthening thread.

30-45 degree angle is best for cliffhanger, so while you train it keep that angle up.

Hang and climb every chance you get. Like literally every chance lol. But along with suggested workouts like people stated above, work on holding everything with just a few fingers. Any items you care during the day, make it hard on your self to carry them with only finger tips. Once you get the hang of that, try doing it with one less finger. You can also do this on a pull up bar.
All of this sounds crazy but it has helped me tremendously on the cliff hanger. The CF is not that much grip strength as it is finger tip strength. So any way you can workout on your finger tips will do the most for you on that obstacle.
