And definitely not the way Levi pronounced it where he put the emphasis on the middle "su".
The entire "su" is there but it's very weak to the point where if you say it fast enough, the "u" can't be heard.

I asked my brother who lived in Japan for 10 years and speaks fluent Japanese and also a guest he had at his house that was visiting from Japan and they both said it was Sa-Su-Ke, and looked at me funny when I asked if was pronounced Sas-Kae. But then over in Japan everyone says Sas-Kay, so I don't know I think they're both right? I'm guessing that the proper pronunciation is Sa-Su-Ke but the common way people say it is the shotened Sas-kae?
Though I could be wrong.
There are words in english like that, such as "probably" the correct pronunciation is "prob-ab-lee, but a lot of people just say "Prob-lee" or "prob-alee". Although, they sound stupid when they do, I really try to pronounce things correctly.

In English, it's sas-kay. In Japanese, however, it's sa-su-ke. Even if they say it so fast it sounds like our sas-kay, it is sa-su-ke.
Japanese has no silent syllables. Just syllables that are hard to hear because they speak so fast.
