but it's sad to realize that if you've read through the thread already you'll know Japan once more got slammed. Also who wants to bet the sweet moment on the final stage is going to BE CUT FROM THE BROADCAST...? I can 100% promise you it will. I hate to think that's true since NBC is like that... |

Casual viewers have no interest in watching a no-stakes climb-off, especially if the US lost. I might put it up as a web exclusive instead of burning the footage, but regardless, it isn't worth putting in the final broadcast. |

They wouldn't, it complicates matters. American fans would be like, why isn't sasuke being broadcast in america, especially since one of our own is competing

Didn't they already say he was in Sasuke 31? This isn't exactly news. The news would be showing the clear and exploiting that as a potential payback story. I wouldn't put it past NBC to do something that low. As for Morimoto, I am already expecting the blowback for Comcast not showing Sasuke Rising (not just 31) here in the USA. I hope it's big.  |

I guess because I recognized the footage they used for him. Tehehehehhe I could have sworn they said Sasuke. I'm being reminded that I was a bit disappointed when I decided to watch USA vs the World last year and Shingo speaking (Albeit not really him) literally made my heart jump and made me stay and watch. I seriously wonder how they'll be translating the Japanese this time... subtitles or actual translators...

At the time of this post, there are currently no plans for a live stream of this event. However, I have proposed the idea to blt024 since there seems to be enough demand for it. Absolute worst case scenario, like always, a download will be available later on.

It's still amazing to me that NBC hasn't done anything to promote this show.. it's odd considering that they did before for every other Ninja Warrior related show they've produced. I would have thought they would have.. unless they are conceding ratings defeat before they even air??
