tgf2k Was wondering about the reaction of Stage 4. You said it seems like Geoff gets screwed over based on interviews, but how did competitors/spectators react to the rule being put in place? Were people just "it is what it is," or were people openly/subtlety critical seeing it during taping?

Ehhh, hard to say, really. I might've been the most outspoken person there about the rule being enforced, but who knows. The crowd and competitors pretty much seemed to fall into one of three groups--pro-wolfpack, in which case it was the Issac show; pro-Geoff, in which case it was the Geoff-got-screwed show; and people who didn't have a side or know what was going on, in which case it was the omg-someone-won-ANW show. Most people were pretty subdued about it, honestly, which bothers me the most.

It was easier in the sense that there wasn't a second drop in the UCH portion. However, since the CCH replaced it, I wouldn't call it easy at all. I think most people don't actually realize what the specs for the official obstacle are, so anytime someone "new" sees it, it's a surprise.

{Spoiler}Grats to Isaac, but he's kind of a cocky guy... I would've preferred a lot of people over him like David, James, Ryan, or Brian Arnold.

What are the specs and is it harder than the cch in japan? It is significantly EASIER than the Japanese CCH. To the best of my knowledge, the catch rail in Japan is the standard 3cm that the other rails are--in the US it was a wooden dowel over 1.5" thick. AKA looks cool but isn't nearly as hard as it should be. My comment about specs refers to the UCH part only though, no one builds the up-gap as high as it really is.

No Cliffhanger in ANW has ever been harder than the ones in Japan.

I really like the Sonic Curve. I'd prefer that over the Half-Pipe Attack which we've been seeing since 2007.

Theres a video on ANWs facebook about all the women of anw. It shows some of the new stage one obstacles.
