idk but the episode did give tribute to Steven Moul which I was quite happy of. I'm happy he got some credit, although I feel personally insulted how that was grouped in with the 2 1-legged competitors or the girl who finished chemo tbh

.. and people wonder why we rage when they selectively MIX results.. and we get screamed that zomg they don't.. voila /facepalm Without those Sasuke results I couldn't come to any calculations even close, so I'm pretty sure they included those. Unless they're doing some super funky math that includes the America vs Japan/World and the ANW 7 course already. What I find particular annoying about this is that they very frequently pretend results from ANW 1-3 don't exist when dropping 'stats' during the show's commentary to make things more 'inspirational', yet they use them to pad other 'stats' when they need them to look larger. Attachment DeletedThis is why we hate ANW.

GO STEVEN!!! I can tell you he is still training hard and working to up his skills. I have been to multiple local events in my area where he has competed and his family is working on building stuff for him in his yard to train more because here in Michigan the training gyms are very very limited.

Why do you feel the need to get so defensive of the show whenever someone makes a comment like that? It's just someones opinion. I watch the show as a critic, I like watching it but point out all flaws because without that the show can never improve. I know you're replying to someone else, but damn, let people not like something if they don't like it...

Well it's just OBNOXIOUS constantly seeing people complaining when I'd rather just talk about the show itself. And it seems like the littlest things too, always the "mixing of the stats", what if instead we talked about things that actually affect the show like supposed instances where production actually f***ed something up (i.e. obstacle malfunctions, Andrew Lowes, the ANW4 clock ordeal, etc etc) y'know? When we're complaining about frickin STATISTIC SEMANTICS as reasons to HATE the show, why are you even bothering?

It's more about the fact when they pick and choose when they choose stats, it's one thing if they adopted Sasuke history completely, it's one thing if they completely ignored Sasuke history (which would be stupid since this is a show where the first 3 seasons were Sasuke trials), but they only acknowledge it sometimes and that's when it helps them, Like last year when Meagan Martin cleared the Jumping Spider and they acted like she was the first woman ever to do it when in actuality Luci Romberg did in Sasuke 21, but then later on try to bring in some Sasuke history to help their own show when ignoring other pieces of it. THAT is what people have the problem with

... For all the people who don't understand why some of us dislike ANW, look at this course. Its just wrong in so many ways How? Just how is it wrong? Hate to break it you, but the recent Sasuke obstacles haven't been the best either. Lets look at this objectively.... 1) The Music Box was way too easy, bulky and a joke 2) The Swap Salmon Ladder was a broken down, unfair mess 3) The Salmon Ladder Kudari was a flimsy mess that kept breaking 4) The Cross Slider was also an unfair mess, eliminating people unfairly 5) The Tackle was just recycled from Sasuke 5 6) The ruling on the Rolling Hill was sloppily communicated. 7) The Crazy Cliffhanger discriminates based on weight, with similarly sloppily conveyed rules. 8) The Unstable Bridge was butchered from 28 onwards 9) The Spider Walk in the 2nd stage is just redundant after the Jumping Slider. 10) Do I really need to go into detail about the bullcrap that was the backstream? 11) The Passing Wall was a complete waste of time 12) The Long Jump was really unimaginative 13) The Jump Hang Kai was similarly lazy, instead of making a new obstacle, lets just modify an old one. 14) The Spin Bridge was stolen from Viking So no, just no. Sasuke has completely and utterly failed to come up with good obstacles in the last few years. The ANW course IS NOT SASUKE! I for one like the new course, and this is coming from someone who perfers Sasuke. For the record, you can't have double standards. You can't complain that ANW is not Sasuke, and then simultaneously complain that its just a half assed version of Sasuke, or "just stealing ideas from Sasuke". In the past few years, ANW has been FAR MORE CREATIVE than Sasuke in the past few years. Things like the Monkey Pegs, I-Beam Cross, Sonic Curve, Roulette Row, Floating Tires and other things are all creative ideas that are better than just Halfpipe Attack, Metal Spin and Doorknob Grasper for the umpteenth time! People on these boards don't want change. They don't want radical new ideas. They don't want anthing that isn't Sasuke. They are stuck on the past, and don't release that AS A SPORT these obstacles need to move forward. To keep competitors on their toes. To stop them from adapting. Y'know, like they do on Sasuke? God, the blatant nitpicking and hypocrisy here disgusts me. Is there nowhere on the damn forums that we can't have a constructive conversation on obstacles without the veteran ANW haters coming and adding NOTHING NEW TO THE CONVERSATION except "this is why we hate ANW" Rant over, it's about time someone said this I said it was wrong in so many ways before I actually saw it as on paper it did sound extremely daft, but now that we have more details and actual pictures of the course I can say it seems a lot better and fairer. My original post was from over 2 months ago right before SASUKE 31 was aired which meant I was in super SASUKE mode and quite frankly couldn't care about ANW and admittedly bashed it a bit too much (tbf some of the heats bashing was fair ). I am sorry that I clearly offended you with a statement claiming why such a drastic course change from an already brutal vegas course in ANW6 to a seemingly on paper even more buffed Vegas course for ANW7 was wrong in so many ways without seeing proper evidence of the course first. Oh and regarding your SASUKE bashing I could probably disprove all of these with a worse example from ANW, they're both equally as flawed

Come on can't we all along here and not compare and contrast Sasuke and ANW on threads were that discussion doesn't belong.

So I was checking out Sasukepedia and noticed {Spoiler} that all 10 wildcards are women?
- Michelle Warnky - Tory Garcia - Asya Grechka - Marybeth Wang - Rose Wetzel - Kacy Catenzaro - Meagan Martin - Cassie Craig - Annie Dudek - Caitlin Shukwit
I don't have anything against female competitors, but I feel like this was more a PR move than a second chance for deserving competitors who didn't quite perform. Not saying the girls didn't perform, but I think there are some of the guys who quite honestly would have been better/more deserving wild cards.

Looks like squeezing Stage One into 1.5 episodes may have been a good thing,.. 20 minutes in and four major competitors have already been shown from what social media is saying,
