Who agrees that seeing the countdown back on the SMF rises the excitement and anticipation of such a wonderful event. Less than 2 weeks to go!

Honestly, 130 seconds for this course seems pretty generous. A 25 second bump for a slightly more time consuming first obstacle, about the same third obstacle and tackle box that should take around the same time as a mini warped wall.
I feel like even if the wall is harder to scale, time shouldn't be an issue.

While the timing does seem generous, the course designers and builders have had enough experience that they more than likely do tests on the course to calculate ideal times. If they say it is 130, then I trust that they did the research do decide that was an acceptable value.

I'd rather a lenient time limit than a strict one. I'd rather see more fails on the latter stages.

I'd rather a lenient time limit than a strict one. I'd rather see more fails on the latter stages. I agree with this, and I think many other people (including the producers) would too. I don't think it is a real secret that the later stages are more interesting, and letting a handful more people through to stage 2 probably won't have a huge impact on the number of Stage 3 and 4 competitors anyways

I'd rather a lenient time limit than a strict one. I'd rather see more fails on the latter stages. If lots of people fail Stage 1, the tournament sucks (looks at SASUKE 19/20), It's much better if lots of people clear Stage 1. At the end of the day Stage 1 was never designed to take out everyone, if it did then there wouldn't be much of a show! If there's 15-20 clears then its perfect

IDK, last tourney's time limit was already pretty lenient considering over 2/3 of the people who cleared finished with over 10 seconds and 7 of them finished with over 20 seconds. Also Asa and Ryo finished with over 30 seconds left. I'd say cut about 10 seconds from this time limit and then it would be more justified. I like seeing a lot of clears, but at the same time I hate seeing ridiculously lax time limits (ex. ANW)

At the end of the day Stage 1 was never designed to take out everyone Actually I think before 18 the director at the time said that stage 1 in Shin-SASUKE was designed to take out all 100 competitors. Almost accomplished in 19 lol

Short thing on King's Brunch (王様のブランチ) from this past Saturday. Has slight spoilers. They unfortunately cut out the commercials which was where the 15 second spot aired. Edit: I think the time tag whatever thing doesn't work so go to 1h27m for the start of the SASUKE section. {Spolier Note}As seen in the video and in these screen caps they do clearly say: 4大会ぶり 史上4人目の完全制覇者が現れる (4 taikaiburi shijou 4 hitome no kanzenseihasha ga arawareru) "After 4 tournaments, the 4th ever person to complete the course will be revealed."

Did blog on 1 of the commercials, a couple of the Youtube videos and on King's Brunch. I'll deal with Navi and the 30 second CM over the weekend. I'm behind because of the power outage.

Found out that jun umeda isn't going to be the 2nd chair. Instead, Ito Yuusuke from SSK 25 2nd chair is actually taking in the 2nd chair. or so i thought.

And here is something where people bet virtually on who will go the furthest. After "Other," Ryo Matachi and Yuusuke Morimoto have the best odds.

I've gone and translated the data, and put it into a nice table sorted by Position # for anyone who wants to see it compiled:

No love for the All-Stars, lol
Thanks. I'm just surprised that there's virtual SASUKE betting!
