I was very fortunate to get Luci to let me blog about her Just like I did with Michael Milner I'm going to be doing a blog entry on Luci! For the record I'm only doing Sasuke 21 (Yes she is doing Sasuke 22 but is under NDA until it airs in G4 - sometime in June.. I think..) so don't ask any questions regarding that. I'm posting this in both the G4 and Proboards. With Sasuke 22 showing this Monday I'll only keep the questions open for a short time. I figured since everyone will be checking the site for Sasuke/Ninja Warrior stuff I might get a lot of responses really fast. I won't get this blog up though until AFTER I'm done blogging about Sasuke 22. Considering the last time.. it might be another couple weeks until I get it done. Guidelines - please don't get too personal. Keep questions to Sasuke/Ninja Warrior 21 only! I also have the right to not include all the questions and she also reserves the right to not answer all the questions Also - please keep this thread to questions only. Once the blog is done I'll create another thread with the answers and of course the blog entry.

Phrased as if asking Luci directly:
You were the first woman to be sent from the Ninja Challenge. What was the reaction people in Japan had to seeing you as a representative? Were they surprised that a woman had been chosen?

Ohh.. nice question Oh P.S. I'll give you guys the synopsis of what she wrote so she won't get duplicate questions: Friend of hers from Tempest were all doing entries for Ninja Warrior. At the time she did not know what it was or how it worked and had no idea she would be competing against the guys. Once she realized she won was did her best not to disappoint the fanbase and everyone has been really really supportive. Late/August early/September was a long month for her. She did the freerunning championships in London then went to Sasuke directly from there. She met everyone going (ANC guys) at the airport in Japan since she was coming from London. She was extremely excited to be at Sasuke and she can't describe the giddiness being there and meeting the All-Stars. She did her best but dissapointed about the halfpipe and she knows what she did wrong (insert Nagano advice Yay!). Oh! P.S. If you wrote a question in the G4 boards you don't have to duplicate it here.. and vice versa I'm monitoring both boards. Gah P.S. #2 - Feel free to say "From (insert name) from (insert location)" if you want. You don't' have to .. I'll end up writing your screen name and what board it came from if you want.

Hey Luci, I was very happy to hear you were announced as a winner in ANC, as I voted for you. While you didn't make it past the first stage, you've became the only female to get as far as you did since the renovation. So, congrats with that accomplishment
Now my question: Who was the person you were around most, meaning who did you talk to the most, or would be near more often than others?

Hey Luci, I was just wondering, what was going through your mind when you were starting your run on the course? Patrick from Chicago.

How did it feel to be the first woman to ever clear the dreaded Jumping Spider? What was going through your mind when you faced that obstacle?

I'll ask her but I sincerely doubt she knows who anyone else is/was. She isn't an uber fan of the show like us geeks are that know every single person by name.

I have 2 questions, which I know have been answered before by others, but confirmation/details from somebody more directly involved (i.e. Luci) would be great: 1. What were you and Nagano talking about? I gather it was about technique/improvement on the Halfpipe Attack (anything more detailed than that would be sweet ). 2. I was told that Mark did not do as well as others because he pulled a nerve from a side event conducted on the same day. Is that why he failed the Log Grip? Or were there other reasons? Thanks so much for considering these questions, Luci and Arsenette (even if you don't answer them)!!!

I have 2 questions, the 1st is pretty obvious 1. If Kunoichi/Women of Ninja Warrior is revived would you consider giving that course a shot? 2. What do you think based on what the course looked like in 21 was the most intimidating obstacle?
