They'll only continue to get better. Also note to viewers: The current season is very old. If you have any constructive criticism about the course or camerawork, it'll mostly fall on deaf ears since I've already recorded up to season 5 over the years I'm just really behind on the editing process. Now if you have anything to say about the actual editing, that's a lot more helpful.

Remember kids, if you're sucking at an obstacle, try to fall on the landing platform, since apparently it works

Good stage 3, but putting your feet on the wooden block in the middle of the cliffhanger was ridiculous lol.

Good stage 3, but putting your feet on the wooden block in the middle of the cliffhanger was ridiculous lol. The rule was that if you were able to grab the second ledge, you could use your feet to work your way around the beam. It being there is pretty intrusive and screws up your rhythm, making the obstacle a lot tougher. So all in all, I think it averages itself out. If I was really trying to abuse it, I would have kept my feet around it for a lot longer. Remember kids, if you're sucking at an obstacle, try to fall on the landing platform, since apparently it works I didn't think it would work. I was on the obstacle for a long time and just wanted to get as far as possible. I knew I couldn't make it to the end so I jumped and somehow it worked I was about to disqualify myself but everyone was telling me to continue, and I "technically" cleared. Junsei Ryou 3 I fixed the platform so it's not possible to do what I did again Anyway, I got my just deserts on the next obstacle. Should have tried a miracle jump like with the Cliffhanger I like this Stage 3 though. Lol.. I was pretty tired at that point, and somehow my arm got twisted so I was at the back-end of the obstacle, and my grip was really awkward. Those sheets were also really... stretchy? And very hard to hold onto. Almost enough to call it "bungee curtain swing". But thanks

*ahem* So it's been a long time. For full details check the description of the youtube video. Anyway, massive massive thanks to 2D2Will of these forums for editing this season for me. Check out his channel here: www.youtube.com/user/222productions/featuredI'm sure he could pitch it better than I could, but he posts a lot of Ninja Warrior related content. Recently he did reviews for every episode of this season of ANW and he posts a lot of NNL content as well. The rest of the episodes of this season are finished, and I will be posting them a few days apart. ---------------------------------- If a mod could move this to the appropriate section, that would be helpful. Last time this thread was active was before the fan media section existed.

You're telling me. Ryan, who appears in this episode, is in college now. He's older than I was in this recording. I stopped after season 5. Season 4 has by far the most competitors and season 5 was looking to be bigger and better than that. It ended up being one of the worst turnouts for competitors including a lot of regulars not showing up. Kind of disenfranchised me. Then we moved houses and I had to tear down my obstacles. If I had even half the amount of intended competitors in season 5, I would've hit over 100 attempts at my course which is what I wanted. Instead I ended at I believe 92 total. I always wanted to do a 6th season just to get those final 8 attempts in. It would also be cool seeing just how much everyone has changed. Like I said Ryan is in college. Brandon is almost in college. Everyone else has changed drastically too. It might've been possible had I still lived in America. I could've thrown something together real quick just to do it. Now that I'm in Japan though - it can't really happen.

And that dedication helped get you on ANW and KuroOvi, so there's always that in your back pocket.

If I had the money, I would love to fly in people from all the homegrown Ninja Warrior style shows and we could have some type of grand competition.

Yeah. How do you think I feel. Easily the longest I've been a part of an online community virtually non-stop. I wish Proboards wasn't as volatile as it was in the past, so much history here lost to bad servers and unfortunate incidents

Online username is Cir9 now but that's besides the point. Yes, I is Curtis and we competed together back in season 4 back in that fancy mangoloia hotel downtown next to the cottonbowl place. Derek was 2nd walk-on while we almost got jumped at a sketchy gas station.
I'm sure if someone negotiated with NNL, I'm sure they can setup some kind of grand reunion/competition thingy. They're already obsessed with the fact I'm able to do graphic operated livestreaming. I'd be down for some free services for some flights for the original crew of "fan ninja videos".
