I'm telling ya, Dallas is where it's at. Nice weather, not too many competitors, lots of good barbecue.
Mmmmmmm.

I live in eastern Pennsylvania in a suburban township outside of Allentown. We tend to get a lot of snow; last year was a near-record-breaking year in terms of total accumulation, and it was bitterly cold throughout much of that time (the wind chill frequently went into negative numbers, and was a big part of why it took such a long time for any of it to melt). Hopefully this winter isn't as bad, contrary to what is being predicted (i.e. another harsh season). You and me both. I find it funny how I check your tweets to see how bad the weather is before I get clobbered in South Jersey.

I propose a SMF meet-up in Dallas when ANW7 is going down. Hell, if somebody can get me access to the things I need, I'LL cook the god damn barbecue.

If we're talking BBQ, Kansas City is king.

Kansas City also gave us KC Masterpiece, and for that I haven't forgiven them. I bet you like New York style pizza too. >.>

Well I've never been to Kansas City. I did stop by Joplin while leaving Missouri once on holiday to Branson.

You don't have to go to New York to have their disgusting, thin, pathetic excuse for pizza. I'll check those sauces out.

Crust is still thin on a Chicago pizza. It's everything else that isn't. AKA the good stuff.
