If I'm not mistaken, correct me if I'm wrong but the lowest fastest time in stage 1 was 3.14 seconds (just realized... Pi) which was set on SASUKE 5 by, surprise (not from me! XD), Shingo Yamamoto.

That is correct Aha! Ok good I wasn't giving you all false info. BTW was there ever a reason why they took out the flame design on the HPA? Was it too much of a statement or was it something else? Also I find it interesting that the arm rings never took anyone out except 2 but BOTH had prior injuries (hand and shoulder). I can see why it's morely a strength draining obstacle but still.

Actually, that's the second-lowest fastest time in Stage 1; SASUKE 10 holds the record (Daisuke Nakata had only 2.87 seconds left, though he still had more time remaining on the clock than the other four Stage 1 finishers). Also, I find it very coincidental that your post about the two Arm Rings failures were the same two people mentioned here.

Daisuke Nakata with his hand injury and Shingo Yamamoto with his repeated shoulder troubles!

Not sure if it really fits in this thread... but the new people on track to have a 100% Stage 1 clear record are Yuuya Kadono and Koki Someya.

Takeda has the most consecutive 3rd Stage attempts of 7 (Sasukes 11-17). Okuyama didn't have the chance to match this as he didn't compete in Sasuke 28 (Okuyama had 6 consecutive 3rd Stage attempts from Sasuke 22-27).

He never had the chance to do it in consecutive tournaments though. Damn. Plus that Backstream was effed. Which brings me to my next one, Okuyama's only failed Stage 2 because of a bad obstacle design (same with Kong).

I also find it interesting that only one all star has failed the rolling log before and only one way back in SASUKE 6. Again it's Shingo. Yet he and Takeda haven't failed the warped wall yet even though Takeda in 19 had it close

I think Takeda's fail was recorded as a Warped Wall fail. Probably shouldn't have been, but yeah.

Well, did get on top of the warped wall, I'd say Flying Chute.

To be fair, Shingo did fail the Soritatsu Kabe in the SASUKE 13 Trials, even though that wasn't an actual SASUKE tournament.
As for Takeda's result in SASUKE 19, some prefer to say that he timed out during the transition from the Soritatsu Kabe to the Flying Chute. That's my preference in phrasing it (since he did complete the Soritatsu Kabe in time), though if I had to say he ran out of time at one particular obstacle, I'd say he did so at the Flying Chute. Although he didn't actually reach the Flying Chute itself, he was entirely past the Soritatsu Kabe once time had expired.

Yeah I know but that's the ONLY time Shingo ever failed the wall which in turn gave him a slightly lower number in SASUKE 13, 76.

Nagano's the only all star to fail the 1st Stage in his debut tournament. (Pretty sure this is correct, but too lazy to fact check it)

Might as well go for the obvious one... Yuuji Urushihara is the only person to have won Sasuke twice.
