Before you ask. No, I'm not recording Sasuke 22. But I am trying to get recordings of my screen (for game vids).
But the problem is they make my computer lag or sound is out of sync, and I have a good computer. So how do I get it not to lag my PC? Evidence of problems
And this one is super lag making it hard to play at all
EDIT: Comparing the first one to the other two, that first recorder doesn't seem that bad in comparison to Camstudio even if it can't record part of the screen.

You checked the tutorial on it and you changed some of the settings right? If you did, then don't use camstudio, if you didn't check this tutorial.

But I still have the problem that I noticed I forgot to mention. It doesn't record audio from speakers. I usually have to use one of those dual end wires with one end in my speaker/headphone jack and the other in the microphone jack.

Been recording video the whole time Heck I have Sasuke 21 that way and a lot of the Sasuke Maniacs. P.S. The whole point of seeing it THROUGH VLC is to record it.. otherwise it makes absolutely no sense to open up that and TVAnts at the same time.

That's what I need it for, gameplay footage.

TVAnts doesn't record through the screen.. you have technically recording the "stream" of what is on the screen. So for that I don't believe VLC will work. Then again... dunno.. my knowledge on the subject is very limited.
As for recording gameplay - My friends always used Fraps.

Maybe I should have communicated in the first post XD That's watermarked and limited unless you buy it. And I can't find a crack

I doubt most people here have tried Vista version 2 aside from me and rider. The only problem's I've run into were my computer overheating, which is not a Vista issue.

Indeed, I've never even heard there was a Vista v. 2.

The Mac commercials came after Vista v.1, which Microsoft then corrected into Vista v.2.

...are you talking about... Service Pack 1?
The only time a "v.1" and a "v.2" existed was Windows 98. Windows 98 initial release (a**-tastic hysteria) followed by a "Windows 98SE " (SE = Second Edition).
