I say it's time we get this started, yeah? This is your first Head of Household (HoH) competition. Everyone is eligible to win this competition. The game is Jumping Long. It's just a long jump. Something simple to get everyone's feet wet. Hold space/left click to gauge run speed (let go to confirm it), tap space/left click BEFORE the foul line to bring up the angle. Tap it again to jump (for best distance, be within the yellow). You can use upgrades to better your score. Winner is the person who has jumped the farthest. In case of a tie, the winner will be the person who submitted first (via PM). The HoH will get to choose two to nominate for eviction. Scores due by: 7/21/14 (July 21, 2014) @ 6:30 PM CDT (Central Daylight Time) (For international competitors, check here to look up your time)

Aww man. I really wanted to join this. Sadly I'm moving in a couple days. So I'd be out of some games for a couple days if I tried anyway.

That was a successful 1st HoH competition, I'll say! But let's not make you wait any longer, let's show the scores:
10.765 (jfeathe) 10.764 (SasukeAnimator) 10.751 (Philip) 10.744 (duhzire20) 10.723 (RiderLeangle) 10.700 (SasukeForever) 10.676 (Chief) 10.663 (mjyr1) 10.414 (lok1999) 9.783 (gt4dom) 0 (bigblind168 -- no-show)
That has to be the closest finish we've had in any game, and this is only the first game! Congrats to jfeathe, winning by 0.001 m to become our first Head of Household! You now hold the power and as such, you must nominate within 24 hours, two people for eviction. Now, due to a family gathering, the Veto won't be able to be posted until later this evening.

That closeness might be because of having a game with a max score that's easy to reach...

My nominees are gt4dom and bigblind183.
It's awful picking nominees the first week so I went solely based on score.

Gt4dom and Blind are your nominees for eviction. However, they will be given a chance to save themselves in the Veto competition. Before that, the HoH and nominees must decide who they wish to possibly assist them in the Veto game. Everyone is in the process of choosing now. Once the choices have been made, I'll post the Veto game.

Now out of curiosity since I don't even remember the rules it's been so long, if someone picks a partner and that partner wins the veto game, is that partner safe from being nominated too?

Yes, I believe whoever wins the veto is safe from being nominated. Exactly right. The winner and their choice (if the winner wasn't nominated) are safe.

We finally have our choices. jfeathe chose SasukeAnimator, Blind chose Philip, gt4dom chose Chief. You six will be playing our first Power of Veto competition. To the HouseGuest who wins the Veto, you will have the opportunity to save one nominee from eviction for the ongoing round. To SA, Philip and Chief: although a particular person chose you, you are under no obligation to save that particular person. You may choose to save the other nominee, or you can choose to go along with the HoH and keep the nominees as is. The game for the first PoV is Pachirisu's Click-Clack Attack! The in-game instructions explain it better than I could. Although, the evolutionary cycle is important for a higher score. There's your tip from me that the game doesn't explain. Note: Anyone is welcome to play the game for fun, but only jfeathe/Blind/gt4dom/SA/Philip/Chief need to give a score. Just to clarify. Scores Due: Saturday, July 26th @ 6:00 PM CDT (use timeanddate if you are unsure what that translates to for your time). CDT is important as Daylight Savings IS happening where applicable in America.

I apologize for the delay, my laptop has a screen wire issue and I'm trying to look for possible temp fixes before I can properly get it repaired/if I can. Enough about my sob story, let's go to what you really want.
Chief: 302400 jfeathe: 242800 SA: 240850 Philip: 174900 gt4dom: 0 (No-show) bigblind168: 0 (No-show)
It looked like jfeathe was going to make it two wins in a row but The Chief comes in at the last moment to take the Veto competition! Chief, you now have the power and can choose to save gt4dom, save bigblind168 or not use the Veto at all and keep the nominees as is. Please give your choice in-thread as soon as possible so we can move on to the vote as quickly as possible.

Gt4dom is saved from eviction for this round. Jfeathe, as Head of Household you must provide a replacement nominee. You cannot choose gt4dom or Chief (for winning the Veto competition).
