Ignoring that farce that was the Ninja Warrior app game, I would envision an ANW game like the KB games of the past with the Sasuke course on them. The game could feature the more popular people as "trainers" of sorts. A character creation system to create your own Ninja. The "story" would be you training for and attempting the qualifier and Vegas. Or to make them more like the KB games, where you can attempt the courses in one go or individually. Just a thought.

Yes, but I wouldn't buy it if it was as s***ty and not true to the series as that abomination Marvelous made for phones last year...

Although I'd like to have it play similarly to the old-school Kinniku Banzuke ones, I feel as if this game would be Americanized into something like those Wipeout games. In other words, I wouldn't expect much out of it, and thus would not buy it. Also, if such a game ever becomes a reality, they'd better not have lengthy "Competitor Profile" pieces for each person anywhere within it---not even as bonus features. That "special feature" alone would be a turn-off, as well as taking up a lot of disk space.

I wouldn't mind it simply because at least ANW had different obstacles. But agreed with the others where the actual "game" has to be good. Many attempts have been made and it's pretty bad when I think the Doritos Crash Course games were BETTER than anything made to be a "ninja warrior" game. That's.. sad. But if they made a true ANW game where it was something that showcased it's obstacles from the different eras and keeping it up to date it could be a money maker.

I'd have to see gameplay of the game before buying it.

I wonder how an obstacle course-based video game would work if it incorporated motion controls (such as Kinect)...

Poorly. Look at Wipeout. IGN somehow gave In the Zone a 7/10, but all other reviews of the game were negative, and even then, IGN gave it a pity 7, noting it's basically high-end shovel-ware. Either way, I would prefer no Kinect controls at least.

I wonder how an obstacle course-based video game would work if it incorporated motion controls (such as Kinect)... It would be severely unresponsive. Wii's motion controls could work if done right.
