New clip of Sasuke Vietnam is up and that is probably the last Stage 2 contestant. Where's the full episode of the last Stage 2?

New clip of Sasuke Vietnam is up and that is probably the last Stage 2 contestant. Where's the full episode of the last Stage 2? Full episode is up now. I'll be watching it right away. But unless they aren't showing all runs, this won't be the last episode. There are still 18 competitors left. Based on the fact they've been doing 7-9 per episode, there *should* be one more week of stage 2. They've shown 19/21 for Stage 1A, but only 5/21 for 1B. EDIT. Watched the episode, 8 more runs, which means we still have 2 Stage 1A and 8 Stage 1B competitors who have not been shown yet. I think next week being Stage 2 Episode 5 is pretty much locked in.

In a very strange move the Sasuke Vietnam channel has uploaded individual run videos of all the remaining competitors except 1. Potentially Stage 3 / Final Episode inbound?

Didn't China do something similar?

Didn't China do something similar? China has uploaded a few, but so has Vietnam. This was 9 runs at once uploaded. The new episode is up now, and it appears to just be those 9 videos stitched together. They've now shown 41/42 competitors for stage 2 (maybe I just missed the last one somewhere?), so next week is guaranteed Stage 3. Given the amount of clears, stage 3 will be at MOST 2 episodes, so I guess Vietnam will be ending within 2 weeks. EDIT: Went back through my records, and found the missing run. They have shown all 42 full runs. Ep 19 (named 18): Full Stage 2 Results & Clear Rates! (Salmon Ladder has ridiculous clear rate)

So out of 42 contestants in Stage 2, only 9 made it to Stage 3. But who knows if there's ever going to be a Stage 4 and have a winner?

Today is the day: SEASON FINALE A friendly reminder that even though this is not the main Japanese Sasuke event, forum spoiler rules still apply as there are many people who do follow this. There is a cool medal ceremony, where everyone who cleared Stage 2 is given a Medal. I applaud all the competitors who ran for a good season ( ~1070 based on contestant numbers, although only 261 competitors were shown running, so who knows how many competitors there actually were.) ADMINS (or arsenette, since she is owner): Since the season is wraps and Season 2 starts qualifiers in 2 weeks, any chance we could rename the thread 'Sasuke Vietnam Season 1' for clarity, so that Season 2 info can placed in its own thread when it starts coming in?

Post-season Episode. Appears to be a 'Best of Stage 1'

I know I'm bumping the Season 1 thread, but anyway. Just watched all of Season 1 over the past few weeks to prepare for Season 2. Overall, I enjoyed it, but it helped that I didn't have to wait for episodes. The announcers were supportive and encouraging, and not overbearing. I liked that they joked around with competitors at the starting line. It was funny when they had some of the failed competitors try other obstacles just for kicks. The reporter was also cool and she seemed really into it. 12 one-hour episodes for Stage 1 may seem like a lot, but it's half of ANW's 12 two-hour regional qualifying/finals episodes, and with a larger competitor pool. There was some discussion on who ran Stage 2 in the thread. Most of the confusion was based on a graphical error in the final top 20 list for 1A (right side / Jumping Spider); it actually started a lot earlier. The guy missing from the final list was the actual #20 with a time of 1:22.04; he only ever appeared on the list after a digest of his Stage 1 run in episode 3, but was absent from the list anytime it was shown after. What we saw on the final list as #20 (actual #21) had a time of 1:22.14, and was the first clear we saw in episode 1. With such a miniscule time difference of 0.1 seconds, I think actual #21 ran as a wildcard because of how close he was. For 1B (left side / Hedgehog), they ran top 20 + the only woman to beat Stage 1 (which happened to be on that side). She's an English teacher (special ed, I think) originally from the US.As for the Team competition, Team Vietnam didn't seem to be based on the top times since only 2 members were in the top 20 from any side (both from 1A, but neither were fastest at #7 and #11). The two International guys (Ukraine and Bulgaria) were questionable. Vu (Ukraine) who is half Vietnamese failed both regular Stage 1 and Team Stage 1 runs. I don't know if Daniel (Bulgaria) ran regular Stage 1, but he did complete it in Team competition.I think Aran (Brazil) would have been a better pick for Team. The second episode of the Team competition opened with footage of Isaac and they said Geoff's name one time. Never forget!
