That is false. It was 18 where he got the disqualification on the Jumping Spider and failed the Great Wall the first time, I forget where he failed the second time.

So the english teacher from south africa, only had one run, maybe ur thinkin of someone else, idk, but i thought he was DQ'd on the HPA and since it was a new obstacle they let him redo it. Thats false? okay, ill run with it

It wasn't the day before. It was the day OF the tournament, He was doing a side event in the down time and pulled his nerve on the Curtain Cling. So he hurt himself at the tournament.

Well technically he had 3 runs, 2 in 18, one in 19. He got Disqualified on Jumping Spider in 18, Which also was a new obstacle so they let him do the course again.

You only heard part of the story Bigblind. That was the initial rumor about what happened was that he cleared Stage 1 in Sasuke 19, but got disqualified and then did it again, where he failed the Jumping Spider.

That rumor was FALSE.

The real story was that in Sasuke 18 (and NOT Sasuke 19) he went out of bounds on the Spider Walk park of the Jumping Spider and timed out on the Great Wall. Since it was a new obstacle, they let him do it again, and this time he failed the Log Grip. He had only one attempt in Sasuke 19.

Ifrt, that's why I hope G4 is actually sending serious competitors this time. Levi can do well (if he tones down his cockiness, at least), and I believe Luci and David can do well. Olivia, well, ok, fine. They can send her for fun. As long as she tones it down a bit.

With this contest, though, they seem to have considered real Ninja Warrior-related skills. If they do it like this (and stop letting all the people return so new people can get their chances), it should be ok.

Aww man I just found this right now. That SUCKS.. Maybe when Sasuke 22 is over and things calm down we can write to them requesting they reconsider their position. I'll do my own since G4 really does discriminate against age. If G4 were picking we would never see Matachi Ryo (he's too young), Kota Honma or even Kenjiro Ishimaru because they would never be considered part of the running.

I think this problem has less to do with actual discrimination than it does with the definition of a minor. G4, being a company of wealth (in theory), probably doesn't want something to blow up in their face if there's some problem, so it's "adults" only, so to speak. After all, the law says that adults can make their own decisions, whereas minors cannot.

Also, G4 holding the exclusive rights to Sasuke passes doesn't surprise me at all. Both Sasuke and Ninja Warrior (and the respective offshoots) are intellectual properties. They are owned by people and they are able to control their properties as they see fit. There's a reason why some brands and companies have to say "The Big Game" instead of "Super Bowl ___".

Does it suck? Yeah, probably, but that's the way things go. If you don't like it, either vote or move.

(I guess running for office and/or becoming rich wouldn't hurt, either)

If your only option is ANC, then the only way to get in is to show ur self doing obstacles or some sort of free running b/c in ANC thats what sells. Doing creative stuff like mentioned above could give you brownie points though

Apparently his friend dared him to do it and thought it would be cool if he could. He'd done that on the floor many times and while he was jumping around doing the video for the application for 6 his friend said "hey do that up there" and he jumped up and did it. He didn't even know if he could do it until he did.. with the camera rolling. In the 3 minutes video you hear his friend laughing when he did it on the background of the video (first time I've ever heard it since they usually mute that for the broadcast).
