What's the French equivalent of "Engrish," because they're apparently aiming to set the standard now... Angrish? Engrais? Le Engrish? That last one is pretty much meme-compatible already.

.. I like Engrais also.. I should be ashamed but I'm too busy laughing to say so.. While I have to stop facepalming over the name.. I'm curious how bad they are going to butcher Sportsman #1. I mean.. I .. love this show. And we all know how badly Ninja Warrior was altered by the end of it. Is it going to be segmented? Will it be overdubbed into MXC but just French? Will it be condensed so short that it's barely recognizable? About the only saving grace to Sportsman is that it was already segmented into different events. They can theoretically do a show per section with a "last time on (insert name I can't even write because it makes my brain bleed) the points were such and such going into this round. Personally I can watch Powerforce all day. That's my favorite event!

France has nothing to do with any of the text involved in any of these things other than Cannes being the host of MIPCOM.
Bellon, the company behind Battle of the Superboyz, is American (or at least US based).
JAPACON is a Japanese collective aiming to send more Japanese entertainment overseas.

No Bellon, no MXC/Takeshi's Castle, Kinniku Banzuke or SASUKE outside of Japan, unfortunately.
