Here's the math you all wanted a little while ago. I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, I just wanted to post proof like you all asked for. Anyway, the ideal angle is 57 degrees. Try to hit the trampoline close to that. And, if I'm not mistaken, in Sasuke 20, it looks like Nagano uses close to that angle. He goes more up than forward. Crazy man.

Nice maths there! With those measurements of length and height, I get an ideal angle of 57.5 degrees. Pardon my ignorance, but how did you find those length and height measurements?

Nice proof. I would never be able to solve for that haha, but it looks right with all the sines and cosines and whatnot . I'm guessing this is more advanced physics, and I haven't missed learning something in basic physics. I hope haha.

Gaazawhite, I used the measurements supersheep posted in the Salmon Ladder topic. Whether or not they're correct, I don't know (I didn't check myself), but it only seemed right to use the same measurements that he did. JapanTV, this does sorta look like advanced physics, but that's only because it's so big. Look at it very closely and you should notice that it's made up of super simple things. Sine, Cosine, Tangent, Theta (for the angle variable), Order of Operations, blah, blah. Nothing too amazing. Just mind your order of operations. It would suck to do all that work and then realize you multiplied and divided AFTER you added and subtracted.
