How you do re-run if your shoulder is dislocated? :/ I meant after his shoulder had been taken care of and it was safe for him to run again. I don't think it's very safety to re-run after 30min-1h break. It just would dislocate once again.

In my opinion, they should have let him re run BOTH times. It's not his fault that his shoulder got injured. Here's the problem with you saying "it's not his fault". Kongu on the final in 24 obviously got the rope tangled, that wasn't his fault but he didn't get a retry. I really think they'll never give another rerun unless it's a major technical failure like Nagano in 23. Oh god Nagano at 23's slider jump. I rewatch that over and over and I expect different results... and then I laugh... wow I'm so stupid. But that was the start of his comeback too since on the second shot he's at the FINALS!

This somewhat reminds me of Bunpei during SASUKE 15... but back on track I think Drew also had this problem but once his shoulder snapped back into place he was fine

Yeah I just realized that at the time I was crushed! Like how could he fail it twice in a row after building the replica to train on! The shock of seeing him fail with the fact that 15 people cleared before him made it really sad. Another one that hasn't been mentioned was Nagano on the Devil Swing in 16 (at least I don't think so) so sad to think he's finally gonna go back to the final and then mess it up that bad!

Imagine if somebody dislocated their shoulder and fixed it on the course.

Imagine if somebody dislocated their shoulder and fixed it on the course. if only Shingo had a chance to fix it himself... on both occasions it was impossible for him to stop. Well ok on the arm rings he could TECHNICALLY finish the obstacle THEN fix it but he didn't want to risk it and after hearing Nagano shouting just drop it isn't worth it, he, on cue, drops

Besides, Lusitania, if you remember, the same thing happened to Kanno, but I don't hear anyone talking about that.

Also forgot to add this in my list of sad SASUKE fails, Shingo in SASUKE 13 with the wall... crushing his leg... right as time was about to expire...

I remember Kong actually being offered a re-try but he refused since the first try tired him out.

I remember Kong actually being offered a re-try but he refused since the first try tired him out. Yeah, they really should have let him gain his energy back, because that's basically like making someone run a few laps around the tower before their climb.

If Kong tried again, we would all be yelling KANZENSEIHA!!!!

Okuyama's in Sasuke 20 annoyed the hell outta me.
I thought Bunpei's in Sasuke 16 was pretty sad. The bump on the mat made me laugh at first, but then you see the "GAH! So close" expression which wasn't funny. I think if he got there again he could have won it all.

Saddest Sasuke moment for me is by far Takeda's spider flip fail in 24. I knew at the time that that was going to be his last legitimate shot at clearing Stage 3. It was also my first non-G4 broadcast viewing, which added to the drama for me. So sad to see.

That would be even worse...
