Which sasuke fail do you think is the most emotional . Which failure has caused you to cry or feel depressed . If I had to pick one I would strangely say kazuma asas failure in sasuke 29. I cried for the first time in sasuke after watching him cry after the cch . Share your views and opinions .

This doesn't belong in the Sasuke 29 board, but I would also have to say Takeda in 24.

This doesn't belong in the Sasuke 29 board, but I would also have to say Takeda in 24. I can understand the reasoning of it being here due to 29 spoilers, while it's not directly 29 related I understand, hence why I put my MV's using new footage in the tournament forum at posting time

Takeda in 24 by a landslide IMO. There was so much emotion there, especially with all of the background history surrounding that particular run.

While I may be gutted that Morimoto didn't make it to the final stage, by far it is Takeda's run in 24. That ending at the time was just heartbreaking.

This might be an odd choice, but Nagano in 12. You know, seeing him miss by 1/10 of a second and all...

I always thought Nagano's failure in 12 was funny. He made it, just, he didn't make it. I laughed. Some of Yamada's failures have been painful to watch, the only real one I can get sad about looking back is Sasuke 6, that whole dramatic landing and falling off the platform. Ouch. I think it's pretty much agreed upon that Takeda in 24 takes the cake here, but you've got to admit that Kong in 23 at the time was also pretty crushing. David in 27 was also pretty dramatic, he was so close.

Kane's fail in 8 was also pretty sad. Seeing him crying in the rain at the base of the Final Stage tower had to be moving to a lot of people. It's even sadder when you consider how that was his last time competing and his heartbreaking end on SASUKE.

Takeda in 24 - sad and at the same time one of the biggest bottlejobs of all time.

I always thought Nagano's failure in 12 was funny. He made it, just, he didn't make it. I laughed. Perhaps I'm missing something, but in what way is Nagano missing Total Victory, (something he'd yearned after for years), by 1/10 of a second, FUNNY?! Are you just really insensitive or something? I do, however, agree with what you said about Takeda. And I have to be honest, though I never considered David, that was indeed a sad failure. But, you know, at least he wasn't right at the end of the stage or anything...

I think he meant that it's kind of ironic, and he was laughing at the irony. On topic, Yamada in Sasuke 10 and Takeda in Sasuke 24.

People make fun of it nowadays, but seeing Yamada in Sasuke 10 for the first time was gut wrenching, and painful to watch.
Obviously Takeda in 24 as well.
Another HUGE one for me is Kane Kosugi in 8... He looked sooooo defeated and just walked away in the rain in silence. Very impactful.
Akiyama in 28... he is my least favorite all star but his speech literally made me cry.

I wouldn't call Takeda's fail in 24 sad... it was more pathetic than anything.
I'd actually say Asa in 29.

Forgive me for being a relative newbiew to the real Sasuke (only the last 2 years or so), having only seen it in the UK dubbed Ninja Warror, but how was Takeda's 24 run 'pathetic'? Even if he did do better on a previous run, surely getting that far into stage 3 on what I'd say was one of the most demanding versions , is no mean feat. I've seen mentions of other things playing on his mind for that run, what was the 'story' ? +1 for Asa in 29 tho, I think he's great, the shouts and 'tattoos' and the attitude are superb, really thought he'd be one of the ones to reach stage 4, and a good chance of Kanzenseiha
