Keep in mind that these are all personal opinions. The Good*21 Stage 1 clears, consisting of veterans and relative newcomers *Many returning competitors from the past, with varying degrees of success *Crazy Cliffhanger clear *Torisawa broke a baseball bat with his neck---and then promptly failed the first obstacle *no annoying Box People *Takahashi's Iron Paddler pwnage The Bad*the Stage 3 stopwatch/introduction of considerably-longer rests between obstacles *Asa and Kanno failing the CCH...again *Nagano failed Stage 1, and may have injured himself *stronger current for the Backstream + 45 second time cut = brutal Stage 2 that several former finalists and even the 2-time Grand Champion could not survive The Ugly*Takeda's Hedgehog failure---extremely shocking and disappointing. Between the past 2 tournaments, he has only cleared 3 obstacles. *Morimoto's heartbreaking demise at the end of the Pipe Slider *no Kuramochi

The good:1. Shingo clearing and posting one of the top times for Stage 1. 2. Backstream owning the competition. Fear the demon that is Stage 2. 3. Sato Hiromichi's hilarious fail. The bad:1. The amount of runs I missed from ads. 2. Takeda taking his sweet old time on the Hedgehog. The ugly:1. Nagano's entire 1st Stage run. 2. The Curtain Cling and Vertical Limit's pride.

The Good: The BEATLES took over the topic of the pre-show chat a couple of times. Same thing as the last except for Minecraft SASUKE Shingo clearing! Somebody failed the Cross Slider
The Bad: SO MANY GOOD FIRST STAGE RUNS WERE DIGESTED! Takeda failing First Stage
The UGLY: The 2nd Stage Yujii's fail during the 2nd Stage The backstream.

It should be noted that the timer in Stage 3 had no affect on Sasuke 29 itself, and was used strictly for SASUKE ASEAN Cup qualifications.

The Good: Lots of stage one clears Kongu destroying the Iron Paddler Crazy Cliff Hanger finally beaten
The Bad: Nagano and Takeda's First Stage fails Lots of digests Kanno and Asa failing the CCh again
The Ugly: Stage Two's time limit Backstream destroying any chance for some people to clear The easy stage three minus CCH and Pipe Slider jump

The good: 21 clears stage 1, The All Stars didn't wipe out on stage 1 this time, returning competitors, Good stage 2 The bad: Too many digests, Passing Wall(you don't even have to lift it now, Morimoto practically just slid under) The ugly: Takeda on the hedgehog, Nagano's entire run(probably would have cleared if it wasn't for his injury)

Good: Asa clearing Stage 1 with over 30 seconds left. 21 People Clearing Stage 1. Yusuke Morimoto beating the CCH. Many old contestants returning.
Bad: Takeda's Hedgehog Failure. Sato's shameful combo-breaking Long Jump fail. WAY too hard Stage 2. Kongu's epic slipup on the CCH.
Ugly: Nagano hurting himself on the Long Jump and the JHK AND failing in the exact same place as last time. Nearly all Stage 1 clears digested. Not one, but TWO People from Yamada's team (Black Tigers) failing the Long Jump. Seeing people ALMOST drown on the Backstream.
OVERALL, AN EXCELLENT TOURNAMENT!

The Good:
Morimoto's amazing performance the return of Shunsuke Nagasaki Sato's epic fail Takeda taking part of the Hedgehog down with him Shingo making Stage 2 Asa destroying Stage 1 The return of Kongu Wakky passing Stage 1 again
The Bad
Overly hard Stage 2 Shunsuke timing out on Stage 2 Nagano failing the Warped Wall again
The Ugly Takeda failing the Hedgehog Yuuji failing the obstacle he specifically trained for Asa and Kanno failing the CCH again Morimoto falling short of the final by inches WAY too many Stage 1 digests (seriously, digesting most of the Shin Sedai? What the f***?!)

-Good: Shingo clearing stage 1. Probably my favourite moment of the tourney. Kong on the Iron Paddler, beautiful to watch Asa, who I've become a fan of, whoopin' stage 1. Morimoto doing great Stage 2 obliteration Kanno LIFTING THE LAST WALL BECAUSE HE IS A MAN
-Bad: Digests, too many of them Kanno failing CCH- honestly, a pass would have been much more exciting so I was disappointed. Nagano injuring himself- would have been nice to have him in Stage 2
Ugly: -Nagano's dismount off the Long Jump (who would have thought Nagano would mess up a dismount?) Takeda's despicable fail (who would have thought Takeda would mees up his balance?) Takahashi's fail- what the hell happened? Yuuji destroying stage 2...up until the end of the Backstream Sato's fail.

-Good: Shingo passing Stage 1. Shunsuke Nagasaki returning and clearing Stage 1. Torisawa doing a faceplant on the Long Jump, a hilarious failure. Yusuke struggling dearly on the Iron Paddler and yet makes it to the last obstacle of Stage 3. First Crazy Cliffhanger clear! Many people feeling the joy of hitting the button at the end of Stage 1. -Bad: No Someya Nagano getting injured on the Long Jump Hiromichi Sato going down on the Long Jump. Stage 2's time limit. Backstream. Yuuji running out of time in Stage 2. SOOOO MANY Stage 1 and some Stage 2 fast forwards and Digests. -Ugly Takeda neraly passing the Hedgehog. He grabbed the end and fell! Asa and Kanno failing the Crazy Cliffhanger AGAIN! They trained soooooooo hard for it and yet failed it again.

-Good: Shingo clearing stage 1. Probably my favourite moment of the tourney. Yep, have to say probably one of the biggest cheers I did in the entire broadcast, and more so because it wasn't a "scrape through" , Shingo looks like he's really put some work in (even if you hadn't seen his training/pre tournaments vids) Kong on the Iron Paddler, beautiful to watch Brutal! So good to see not only his return, but completely destroying the Paddler where so many of the big names had struggled previously.Asa, who I've become a fan of, whoopin' stage 1. +1 Love the mad intensity, but at the same time I think he can/could take over from Yamada for tears, but as he can/should/will do (hello anyone searching for Asa in the next few years!) get Kanzenseiha, 'we' can allow that Morimoto doing great Epic, from pretty much nowhere, great run, and 1st to clear CCH gets him a mention for future digests Just gutted he didn't make it to final stage.Stage 2 obliteration Kanno LIFTING THE LAST WALL BECAUSE HE IS A MAN Always great to see someone doing the "f*ck you wall" pose on the last one ...-Bad: Digests, too many of them Yep, especially the latter few all of whom were big names/well known. Maybe the producer(s) thought "They all know they''ll pass so we won't show them", but I'd disagree, we want to see them 0wn it. Nagano injuring himself- would have been nice to have him in Stage 2 My No 1 downer moment of the entire tournament, as he took off and you realised he'd injured himself...Ugly: -Nagano's dismount off the Long Jump (who would have thought Nagano would mess up a dismount?) I think it was more done on takeoff best I can tell from a rewatch, seems to go to clutch his leg/thigh/hamstring almost straight after jumping.Takeda's despicable fail (who would have thought Takeda would mees up his balance?) Gutted doesn't even come close to covering it Takahashi's fail- what the hell happened? Pass, no idea, momentary brain fade? Can't see it being physical given how he'd absolutely demolished the rest of it
Yuuji destroying stage 2...up until the end of the Backstream This was the biggest suprise/shock for me based on what I'd seen/read online about him training swimming underwater for 25M Absolutely gobsmacked , and again question wether they were told about "top of tank = against, bottom of tank = for" current
