For those who are interested, I just finished tweaking a few minor things on the main spreadsheet and in my main file folder of MP3s (fun fact: it has 566 SASUKE songs in it). Specifically, most of the songs are now in 320kbps/high-quality format, and all of them are labeled as accurately as I reasonably can (much of the credit on both of these tweaks goes to gojira5). Although I've gotten even more songs since then to go through (which I'll eventually make available as a supplemental folder), this main one of 566 songs will be up somewhere within the next day or two. As a fair warning, the folder is over 4 GB in size.

That has been recognized about as soon as it was used 11 years ago-- it's the Epilogue song from Taegukgi which is one of the top ten highest-grossing films in South Korea and at one point was the top film.

Looking at the spreadsheet, I don't think you have Nagasaki Shunsuke's 3rd Stage Clear theme from 17.
It's Sign 2 from the Berserk OST, if I'm not mistaken.

it's in the full set... it might've been left off the list. i've got it in the project folder as "Nagasaki Shunsuke stage 3 clear in 17"
i need to get a new copy of excel, i can't even open the spreadsheet on my new laptop, and the crashcart killed my desktop pc

It's in there; row 562 lists that song under "Stage clear (digests)" from SASUKE 14-16, with Nagasaki's Stage 3 clear in 17 being listed in the same row under "Other Uses" (column G).

How obscure were the video games that M9 liked to use for music? I know Onimusha was fairly popular in the PS2 era.
I also managed to find some old obscure Japanese racing game soundtracks on YouTube. None of them checked out or even remotely sounded like anything they would use.

I don't know if anyone else knew about this, but if not, well, here ya go. This is the ending theme to Sasuke 2, it's called "GARDEN" by "SUPER SOUL SONICS." Sorry about the audio and video quality, it was the only video I could find, it was uploaded in 2007, and it's a concert recording, but it's better than nothing. If anyone lives in Japan, it is on Amazon for 1000 yen. Amazon Link

I haven't read this in a long time, so can someone answer me this: have we found the old digest theme on its own yet?

見つけた! I found it! Spoiler tags all around because I wonder why M9 chose it... for numerous reasons. Twenty years after SASUKE 1, we can FINALLY lay the Digest music mystery to rest. I was watching an OVA adaptation of ]Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer and the music sounded VERY similar to the digest theme. I kept watching solely based on that because even as someone who would actually sit through crappy movies and anime, I can't tolerate it. It was all for the love of M9 SASUKE.
BE WARNED: Gratuitous amounts of nudity, fanservice, and the worst animation you may ever see in something produced by Japan. Warn me, reprimand me if this was not a good idea to post. Skip to 39:58.

Whoever watched SASUKE 28 onwards should know this.
VGM AKIRA also posted an excerpt of this.

I know this thread is inactive but I didn't know where else to ask this... does anyone know what Kazuma Asa's 2nd Stage theme was in Sasuke 28? I know a long time ago someone uploaded it on Youtube, however it was taken down and I have never been able to find it since.

There might be copyright issues with the song, which is why it might have been taken down from YouTube (either that and/or because some of the Japanese music guys tend to occasionally remove their SASUKE BGM music clips for some reason). In any case, the song is called is "Mobile Suit" and is track #5 on the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Original Soundtrack I. You can listen to it here (the song starts around 15:15).
