Here's a link to the Google Sheet. Anyone can view edit, but if it looks like it starts getting vandalised, I'll lock it down to just certain approved editors. PM me to get access to edit it. Since this is publicly posted like that it might be a smart idea to lock it down anyways, someone doesn't even need an account here to see it and vandalize it. If posting new info is a concern just have a group of people who have permission to edit it and any finds be posted in the thread here so the people who have that access add it in Agreed! Please lock it down.. that's a lot of work for some idiots to do what they did/do with Sasukepedia and also agreed with it being a google document that it has a whole new set of vandals waiting.

Given that years have past, and this is still not on that spreadsheet, and I do not believe there is any embargo on music from the Japanese fans like there used to be (we have almost all of the music anyway), I'm going to go ahead and make this one known because it's one of my favorites.

Something tells me the digest theme is from a company which is EXTREMELY strict with their music (see Shane Kosugi's 9th failure and Yuji Washimi's 2nd stage themes). I tried to delve into rare/obscure PSX games but have come up with nothing. I know I'm not really turning up with anything, but I don't want to give up...

I have a feeling at this point that it was an original composition that someone wrote for the show, the author of which has long disappeared at this point. We've literally searched everywhere, asked Inui himself, and done everything short of putting an expensive bounty on it for the entire internet to search.

Does anyone know what the song used at the beginning of 22 is? It was also used at the end of Proto SASUKE 18.

Major update regarding the SASUKE music project in general: While I'm not directly posting right now to provide the names of any new songs used, I'm here to inform everyone that I have enough time (now that college is done until August) to invest in updating the very large list of all SASUKE music that I've come across since the initial spreadsheet I made 4 years ago. Although I know I have had this project on hold for a far-overdue amount of time, I am actually actively working on it lately; I've started by first revising the old spreadsheet with additional information and fixing any errors (it's currently available in a certain spot which you should PM me about if you don't understand what I mean). Furthermore, most (if not all) of the newly-discovered music will be compiled for everyone's convenience and listening soon afterwards. I say "most" since some of the songs are extremely obscure and almost impossible to find, but I'm expecting around 98% of them listed in the spreadsheet to be included in full. I will update this thread again to let you all know when everything is good to go!

Just an update/teaser to prove that it's coming along quite well (I only have about 80 more songs to go through). The blurring of the information for now is intentional. (Spoiler tags due to size)

I just finished the updated spreadsheet; it has information for 305 new songs on it, ranging in use from SASUKE 1 to SASUKE 31. It, along with nearly all of those songs (a few aren't obtainable anywhere online that I'm aware of) should be available within the next 24 hours in a familiar spot.

2 things: 1.) For those who aren't already aware, the updated spreadsheet and new songs are up in said familiar spot. 2.) There are samples of two of the original songs for SASUKE 29 onward on one of the composer's (Ariel Blumenthal's) Soundcloud page. SASUKE Main ThemeSASUKE End ThemeAdditionally, a track titled "SASUKE Reel" (which is basically a medley of several of the original songs) can be listened to here.

The song that played while Yamada was giving them lessons.... (could be found in the obstacle thread)..... Do you happen to know its name?

The main one that plays is the beginning of the "Clear Digest" theme. The best thing that we have to a clean version of that is an edit by kuro. It's probably more wishful thinking than reality, but I really hope that at some point in the future they release a CD with all of these original songs.

Friends, anyone know what song they played when introducing Abareru-kun on Sasuke 31? Many thanks. As a bonus for everyone, I found a theme today that was actually used several times for a notable competitor.

Someone has found the song below (from when Yamada failed at the end of SASUKE 10), but I haven't had luck figuring out what it's from. Anyone have any ideas? EDIT: Found it.

I'm probably totally wrong about this, but I noticed something with some of the known music in the spreadsheet - the soundtrack's known release date and the date that a particular tournament aired and used that song are sometimes very close.
As an example, Yamamoto's 2nd Stage Failure theme from 13 is from the PS2 game Onimusha 3, which was released (in Japan) on February 26, 2004. 13 didn't air until April 6 that year, which is something else.
Lee's Final Stage theme was from Bayonetta, which was released in Japan on October 29, 2009. 24 was aired on New Year's Day 2010.
It's just a thought while I'm looking for the old replay theme.
