I know people have seen this many times.. but I still find this funny: blog.livedoor.jp/musclepark/archives/51344802.htmlHere in the USA it means "F you".. but in Japan it means showing power or your muscle or something.. anyone? I know I fell in love with Shinji for doing that to Nagano after he blew past stage 2.. but man.. seeing a row of people all collectively telling them to f' them.. I can't stop the hysterical laughter..

I thought it was Italy or someplace where it was derogatory. Here, I think it just means there's a holding penalty.

Holding penalty is when they hold the wrist.
And I've seen people think those who are doing the Atlanta Braves chop are telling others to go F--- themselves, so I've stopped getting offended at crap like that.

It'd be funnier if they were all flipping off the camera.
That's what I originally thought of when I read your post, LOL.

I think it's not f*** You in America but in Spain or something, Although I have seen a variation with the middle finger up.
Although looking at that picture I think it's a bit different anyways, I think F-U has the palm over the muscle.
