For Shinji, yea, that's just a typo. Sato competed in Sasuke 10 and beat the Warped Wall before timing out. Thus, he gained two spots based on that. We could eventually get around to calculating everybody, or at least the ones mentioned in the Japanese wiki

Yeah, I believe the Shinji typo was originally made by me. Sorry. And Ku Honpei (and Pants-man, and everyone else who failed at the start area) should get negative scores just for their utter fail-ness.

I'm going to assume that we're not going to add the Sasuke 22 results to this list until G4 shows it, right?

Though if anyone really wants those results to be posted, we could always update the list in the SASUKE 22 forum. Just an idea.

I developed a formula in my head for cut runs.
We know they didn't pass the 1st stage or they wouldn't have been cut.
SO... take the average of their failures in the 1st stage and count wherever they are as their points.
i.e. Competitor A competes in 4 tournaments: Fail Arm Rings (3rd) Fail Jumping Spider (1st) Fail Warped Wall (1st) Cut
We average the 4/9 and 6/9 to get 5/9, so we can assume he failed at the Halfpipe Attack.
