"Sports Danshi Grand Prix" I missed seeing this because it was worded differently but it looks like TBS is going to have a sort of celebrity sportsman-esque show this week (tomorrow, actually). www.tbs.co.jp/hot-jyouhou/201211081637.htmlwww.tbs.co.jp/program/sport_danshi_20121121.htmlNone of the familiar sportsman events other than the Monster Box and the Shotgun Touch but they seem to have the same style background - I have noticed it being used for other shows here and there but that is only the background set, not all the other equipment so it does not refute the rumor that TBS sold off the Sportsman stuff that was in storage. Also, none of the familiar faces since the goal is more of an "ikemen" i.e. cool guy thing so no comedians. Wataru Mori is one of the participants though. Show airs from 19:00 to 21:24 JST November 21st.

The only one I recognize is one of the STQ'ers named Mori Wataru. We haven't seen him in Sasuke in a while but that's the only connection I can find. I hope this does well so they bring back the one we are used to? /crossesfingers

Hopefully someone is planning on recording this, I'm tempted to watch just because that "Mountain Flag" event looks kinda awesome

Thanks for the liveblog That was an enjoyable read! I remember seeing Mori in Sasuke before but the other doesn't sound familiar though

Akiyoshi Nakao was the actor from ROOKIES who "trained" at the home of Katsumi Yamada with predictable results.

ameblo.jp/adihasam/entry-11409935215.htmlAccording to this, the show got an 11.5 rating. It did well during the first few hours of the show but it looks it lost most of the audience towards the end as other shows sort of trounced the final half hour or so. It did not crack the top ten in the Video Research rankings nor the TBS top five for the week.

LOL if I'm reading the information correctly at the bottom.. people are blaming the dumb chicks for ruining the show! Still good if they got rid of the bimbos so there might be hope!

I almost went crazy hearing those women squeal every time a shirt went off. None of those guys were THAT toned. Fangirls...
