SMF: Takeda may actually get to the final if he gets to stage 3. *Pipe Slider is brought back as the final stage 3 obstacle*
SMF:DAMMIT

Yous miss the point entirly rider the course could very easily be beaten again here! So? The only way to stop is from being beaten is make it so impossible no one stands a chance... and that's bad for ratings... When we can have two finalists in a tournament with the UCH... there's no way to really stop someone from winning that doesn't break physics... Just be happy and enjoy the fact we're even getting a Sasuke 28...

Though I really, REALLY hope he makes it to the Final Stage. In my opinion, he deserves a chance at it more than anyone else. It may be highly unlikely (especially right after a Kanzenseiha tournament, in which there are never any finalists), but it's either now or never. Back on topic, if many of the older obstacles are back, it'll be neat to see the newer competitors (i.e. the ones who only began competing during Shin-Sasuke) try their hands at some of the more classic obstacles. I can even see the Body Prop taking out a few of them, provided it's there. BTW, does anyone think that Inui might be trying to revive/revamp his diabolical Stage 3 from when he left in Sasuke 14?

Glad to know black mats are back.
Are there any new obstacles in the third stage? If not then it doesn't bother me, although it would be cool to see one.

BTW, does anyone think that Inui might be trying to revive/revamp his diabolical Stage 3 from when he left in Sasuke 14? TBH that feels exactly like what he's doing, Before 25 happened, that era of Stage 3 is what was considered to be the toughest of all time... I can see why it's being revived for a renewal tournament Glad to know black mats are back. Are there any new obstacles in the third stage? If not then it doesn't bother me, although it would be cool to see one. Agreed Also to put it simply we don't know yet... All we've seen of Stage 3 are a few shots near the front, and we can only confirm 2 and partially a third from that

Because the presteige of winning is lost and the whole concept will fade as the competitors end up stronger than the course. The story is meant to be man overcoming insane odds.

But if you did have to up the difficulty just to keep up with the top competitors... where would the line be drawn? After it's too f***ing rediculous... I'd rather have a course full of proven challenging obstacles than 50 ledge cliffhangers or hundred notch salmon ladders...

Until there is a log jam of winners falling all over each other your argument has no merit. In the past 15 years we've had 3 champions. I think you need to lighten up and be happy there's a damn tournament. This is a television show that just got cancelled and brought back one more time to make a determination if it's even going to survive in Japan. This literally could be the last show. I don't think you realize this.

Just sit back and enjoy the show, pray Japan turns on their television that night, pray it's on TBS and pray that it stays on. Otherwise it will be your last "new" thing you see.. ever..

When you know something was dying but saved at the last second, what would you do?
When you know something is happening but is going to die soon, what would you do?
When people still want something to happen but is never going to, how would you feel?

If it is the last one let it end with a Nagano victory then its the perfect end!
I think I see the pipe slider/ bar glider in one of the pics in the bg of that guy pics with the video van close up.

Maybe they're purposely only showing pictures of old obstacles to keep the new ones secret?
And Yuuji fans should be delighted, hey get to see him take on all the old obstacles!

That's probably exactly the point (At least for Inui's pics)
And yeah, I think everyone wanted to see that
