I have an idea for a Sasuke themed video that has many sad or dramatic moments. I want to make sure that none of the greatest, powerful, most emotional moments in Sasuke go unnoticed. There are only so many I can think of, so I'm consulting the forum. What are some of the best ones?
They don't have to be when someone fails tragically. Remember when *insert name here* beat the Final Stage? He ended up in tears because all his training paid off, that's what made it so powerful.
Think outside the box.
Think of moments that the average Sasuke fan would not think of. I'm looking for moments that are somewhat overlooked. Even back to Sasuke tournaments that are decades old now.
We all know Takeda letting go of the Spider Flip was an emotional train wreck, but this moment was not overlooked in the slightest.
I think Akiyama in 11 is a good example because he overcame certain obstacles that beat him before. He cleared with 0.00 Seconds left, he got up and celebrated, and his parents were there cheering for him.
Nagano in 12 is not a good example because G4 has done way too much coverage on that. Though, it would make sense to include it in the video.
No Sasuke 27 discussion please.

For me, Wakky clearing the First Stage for the first time in 27. The satisfaction on his face, like a weight has been released from his shoulders.

Some of the most notable ones I can think of are:
-Shingo's Stage 1 clear in 23
-Yamada's fails in 8 and 10
-Kane's Stage 3 clear in 8 (and his Final Stage fail)
-Takahashi's Stage 3 clear in 24
-Nagano's win in 17
-Takeda and Nagano's fails in 19 (they ended their record-breaking clear streaks)
-Washimi's Stage 2 run/fail in 19
-Nakata's Stage 3 run in 17 or his Stage 2 run in 21

Hmmm, While there's more to come to mind, I always felt Yuuji's 21 run (Hell, even the clip of him clearing the SCH at Bug in Miki) was important, trying since Sasuke 11 and finally makes it on, same with Akiyama's first Stage 2 clear in 4, after failing twice, clearing and moving on to win the same tournament. Also anything I might have missed in sasukemaniac.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sasuke26&action=display&thread=3258EDIT: Also I feel the first clears of each era are special but I kinda got that in the Kamikaze vid |

TAS disqualifying himself just feet away from the finish on the Pipe Slider in 4
Yamada timing out right under the goal at SASUKE 3
Campbell falling off the last ledge of the UCH in 27
Shingo Yamamoto bouncing off the end of the 3rd Stage in 5
Ditto after the Rumbling Dice in 9
Kazuma Asa's 1st Stage clear in 27

He hadn't cleared stage 1 since his win and he was sloppy on the Warped Wall, missing it a few times. It was hard to tell if he was gonna make it and when he did, I think his supporters (All-Stars, Nakata etc) thought he had timed out but the commentator screamed something which probably translated to, "He cleared!" (or something like that). His fellow supporters cheered in shock and genuine happiness and Akiyama wept like a baby in his father's (?) arms and his fellow supporters were so happy.
I think the atmosphere is what made that so emotional, plus the music was so perfect (anyone know what it is?).

I've never seen the original broadcast of any Sasuke tournaments except for one. Is there a place on the internet where I can watch them. Or DVDs that I can buy? Can't find these anywhere.

Venus eluded to that one in the original post, but yeah that was one of the first moments that came to me as well. Takamasa Nagasaki in Sasuke 18 because he was the 1st to clear Shin-Sasuke. Not sure if this is emotional.But it is a memorable moment.
