lol, good to see more video blogs (ie. high density screenshot shrapnel)
What the hell is up with the SCH at Muscle Park? I know it's been beaten quite a few times, but the only people I've seen even attempt the jump are Nagano, Mark and one of the MP All-Stars.

Well we know Shingo got a perfect this year (or was it last year.. I have to go back to check the blog.. but there are no videos of it.. okay December 6th, 2008 - blog.livedoor.jp/musclepark/archives/51310093.html ).. Everyone keeps complaining how they don't have any grip on it and that they can't do the jump without Sasuke Spray.. They are so dependent on it.. Heck even chalk helps some of the guys.. Judging by Takeda's reaction.. there was gunk up in there that kept making them slip.. probably sweat from everyone else trying the same thing..

Thanks, I didn't know that Shingo (or, according to Google, Mr. Susumu Satoshi Yamamoto! ! !) cleared it. Maybe he's improved more than some of us (especially myself) are giving him credit for.
Wasn't there a list of everyone who got a perfect on the course? I had a look but couldn't find it.

It's somewhere in there. Ube found it before but I don't know where it is. One thing of note though.. out of all the All-Stars.. Shingo is the only one to cleared BOTH courses.. Bunpei was the only other All-Star to clear the original course with Shingo. Dunno if Bunpei has gotten there yet this year yet to try the new course out. They seem to drop unannounced to check it out without fanfare. Nagano can't do that.. he caused pandemonium the last time he did that.. he's far too recognizable. P.S. I'm surprised no one has commented on Takeda's comment about training too much for Sasuke I thought people would be all over that (it's the last part of the blog)

lol, I'll admit to not reading the entire blog, just sort of skimming through, so I missed that. His comments resonate strongly with Levi's in Sasuke 20. This is going to sound very much like jumping on a bandwagon, but I never really saw the point of training for specific obstacles, other than stuff like the Cliff Hanger where however strong you are it helps greatly to have some experience at landing a jump. For a lot of third stage obstacles in particular, it seems like time would be better spent with exercises that more efficiently improve your grip/endurance, ie. in the current third stage, if your body was sufficiently capable, IMO you'd only really need to practise the Cliff Hanger, Spider Flip (maybe) and final jump.
EDIT: It saddens me that when I search for Sasuke Park on Google, I get Naruto AMVs with Linkin Park...

I was trying a more direct approach, which is in fact totally pointless since all the 'perfect' records are (I believe) in Japanese, which is possible to search for effectively if you don't speak the language or have a Japanese keyboard... but difficult.

I don't know if this would help but I copy and paste the Japanese text for whatever I am looking for from the Wiki reference, if there is one, and then paste it into Google Japan to search the Japanese directly...works pretty well, then I bablefish the result or have Google translate the site...maybe that would work...

Wasn't there a list of everyone who got a perfect on the course? I had a look but couldn't find it. The site for the lists on who got a "parfect" on the course is here: www.musclepark.jp/attraction/parfect.shtmlEnglish translation here: translate.google.com/translate?prev=hp&hl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.musclepark.jp%2Fattraction%2Fparfect.shtml&sl=ja&tl=enSo far the only people to officially beat the Shin-Sasuke course at Muscle Park are (using google translations): July: Katsura Taro Yamamoto - 17 years old, Keita富野 - 26 years old, 又地 諒 - 19 years old August: Kawaguchi Tomohiro - 26 years old, Noguti Youitirou - 21 years old September: Arai Kenichi - 38 years old October: Ueno Takuya - 18 years old, Okada Yuiti - 34 years old November: Morimoto Yusuke - 16 years old, Aduma Masahiko - 32 years old December: Hioki将士 - 27 years old So Shingo Yamamoto never officially beat the course and got a "parfect".

Wow he wasn't noted in there? Weird..
Btw.. I added a couple changes to the blog. a) Takeda WAS talking trash to a 7 year old girl.. (LMFAO and yes he did know her personally.. I'm sure he was saying that to show off in front of her Mom and Dad) b) Takeda cheated on the Bio Clock...

Come to think of it, it doesn't say anywhere in that blog post that Shingo got a perfect, it just says 'fantastic result', which IMO implies that he passed the Cliff Hanger but missed the Arm Rings jump.
The katakana translations never fail to crack me up:
SAPURAIZUGESUTO - Surprise guest SASUKE ORUSUTAZU - Sasuke All-Stars
Also, do you think 'Katsura Taro Yamamoto' is a bad Google translation of Keitaro Yamamoto? The age seems to fit.

Rofl, Takeda is such a sore loser. Or he just a funny guy. My favorite part was the green peppers, Nagano just looked at him like "What are you doing? you know I hate vegetables! " And he keeps a completely straight and serious face about it the whole time, and Nagano just doesn't know what to say, LOL.

Is there a chance these videos could show up subbed eventually in the future? The translations never fail to crack me up:

lol fair enough. I like the cunning misquotation, in a desperate sort of way. Webcomics are the lowest form of topical image posting, though.

Well if you want something not a comic that didn't translate well. (Did they not see that someone was going to do that if they not only put Cocktails on the sign but put it on the bottom where it's easy to reach!?) EDIT: Ya' know what. If they rearange the setup in that comic, that could be a Downhill Jump if you think about it.. THERE! Now it's relavent!

Haha the green peppers part was histerical. I don't like green peppers either, so I know how Nagano felt . I also liked Takeda's idea for training. I also hope that I wasn't included in the group of "the kids in G4 who post every day on their progress"; hopefully, you're only talking about Rider haha. I only practice a few obstacles in my free time . Seriously though, I don't practice for specific obstacles nearly as much as I do "all-over" training. It was another great blog.

I was very happy to have gotten the translation for that. heck.. the video alone! It was a major surprise to get it! Takeda and Nagano seem to do that a lot from what I understand. (remember Nagano just bricked Takeda a few minutes before with his family thing...) only to brick him right back with throwing his buddy under the bus.. It's all good when you are friends
