What's with the spoiler tags still? Anyways, way to go everyone from Southwest!! Stream doesn't work so I'm using my ISP's TV streaming app... it'd be 95% better if it worked when you actually tried watching. It lagged behind a lot especially after Frosti's run. GG Brent... I want to see the Northwest and SE finals.

Seriously, G4, the "Mt. Midoriyama" thing is annoying now. "Midoriyama" is just the name of the lot they build the course on, it's not the name of the course itself... plus... "Mount Green Mountain?"
I think I've only heard a few Americans refer to it by its proper name twice.

Although the name has been used to refer to the course... The japanese announcers say midoriyama quite often in the context

Anyone have any way I could get a message to Dustin Rocho? After seeing that episode...let's just say I want to wish him well.

It's bugged me for a while.
Never mind the whole splitting the ANW and Japanese contestants G4 has been doing... it's been ruthless from the start. When Nagano fell from the Slider Jump, you could hear the Americans go "That's bogus" at the start, behind the other All-Stars. In the NW broadcast, they cut it short right after Nagano pointed at the rope. By far the most egregious was after Nagano cleared in SASUKE 27, Keisuke Hatsuta clearly said "24" (ni-jyuu-yon) competitors had cleared but the subtitles said only 15 had... seriously, G4?
I really have to give props to Arsenette for shedding light on this. How stupid G4 has become since they stopped airing NW daily is amazing.

This isn't exactly new, G4 has done plenty of stupid things from the start before they even got americans involved in Sasuke, compare broadcasts, and if you know a bit of japanese and can identify plenty of words, read the subs...
As for why they cut the american voices during Nagano's Slider Jump technical error, that may have been about what can be said on tv... Levi clearly said "Oh s***..." And you can hear a "f***" as well (granted the camera was on Takeda crouching down at the time).

What I want to see is Americans on the Rolling Maruta/Log... I suppose people found out the Escargot in 27 (press your stomach against the wood, push your arms and hands into the grips)...
Then again, seeing Americans go on the old course like Travis Allen Schroeder and Paul Terek make me think their body weight will just slow the log down and allow them to descend.
Or it can pull a SASUKE 8 and have the log stop only to throw a competitor off.

I just have to say...that course looked awesome at night. I agree, and from what we've seen in the previews the course in Vegas looked great as well... I'm kinda annoyed the american version of the final stage has more badass lighting than the real one lol

From what I saw, Dallas will be even better. They have giant green light in the background, 1 for each obstacle. Once you pass an obstacle the corresponding light turns red. If you fail, they all simultaneously turn red. (at least from what I was told)

That sounds f***ing awesome to be honest. lol It wasn't really visible in the commercials though (granted all we've really seen in the previews for dallas semis was someone on the Curtain Slider)
