Is it me, or were the doorknobs in 25 significantly easier than in 26? I think the doorknobs were "locked" in 25 because I watched Hashimoto's run and there wasn't any turning whatsoever.

Hahaha I actually watched 25 again last night and you're absolutely right, they do not turn. You can even hear the sound of the friction between their hands and the knobs. I think the difficulty at the time was just to hold onto them, like a harder version of the lamp grasper. When the UCH got a little easier in 26, to balance it out it seems they made the knobs turn.

Uhhm, Actually that's just the camera work, David said that Brian confirmed that the doorknobs turned in 25.

The angles, they make it hard to see the rotation

The angles, they make it hard to see the rotation But you can hear the fact that they are not turning... Also Brian weighed a lot more than the other competitors, perhaps the tension threshold of the doorknobs couldn't hold as tightly with him as it did with others.

I hear their grip strength rubbing against the knobs, like the friction is obvious because they are clearly not turning.

If Brian confirmed they turned.. then why is there a discussion?

Ok whatever. But I think they turned a lot more in 26, hence all the difficulty David and others had.

If Brian confirmed they turned.. then why is there a discussion? They may have turned for Brian, but like I said he weighed a lot more than the others. They could have turned more for him as a result. Judging by the wonky Roulette Cylinder at the time I don't think it's unlikely there were other design flaws... they probably noticed this and just made them turn freely in 26.

Either it's locked or it's not. Unless you believe Brian broke the lock with his weight.. which doesn't make sense. He says it wasn't locked and I'm more likely to believe someone who was on the damn obstacle than someone watching on TV. As for 26 just ask David.. wait.. you did.. and you got your answer.

True, perhaps the noise from the knobs in 25 was just the (wooden?) foundation creaking.

I think the noise you're hearing is the sound of the doorknobs turning, you can hear sounds when you turn doorknobs, hell, the weight makes it a factor, lean on a doorknob and turn it, it should sound similar NOTE: RiderLeangle is not held liable if you put too much weight on your doorknob and you broke it like an idiot
