I was thinking that they have a habit of tying a song to their persona.. They do?

The name of Takeda's is Pale Warrior, I wouldn't say he's the tannest guy out there and i guess you could call him a warrior? Perhaps that makes sence. The other 2 I was talking about are called Claude and Future. By the way, fishing video games at one point were very popular in Japan (not sure if they still are or not). Not sure if an had star characters or soundtracks, but ones from 1999-2002 might be work looking into if anyone knows any. Just a suggestion.
If anyone knows the name of some games that might be useful let me know and i'll find them. I have a way of finding things like this.

I don't think Yamada's theme is fomr Naruto. Link me to the samepl and I'll tell you if it is or not, I know all of the songs in Naruto, so I should be able to recognize it.
If it IS from naruto, what song is it?
I was never aware we had found it, I only thought we found HSunsuke's and Takeda's.

I had an idea this morning, and I'm defering the hard work to you guys . I have this program on my phone called "midomi", if you pay attention to iPhone commercials, Apple has advertised "Shazam". They're music identification programs. I prefer midomi greatly, but for the sake of testing, I'll check both. What Shazam and midomi do is take a 10 second sample of music, and identify it. How? I have no idea, but note that I have identified a song with NO lyrics before. So here's what I need you guys to do. I need you guys to identify the cleanest and most significant 10 seconds of the song. I would prefer the clip to be entirely without the announcer, but if the song is really significant over his voice, I'll give it a shot. I know that this is going to be really hard, because the announcer talks all the way into (and sometimes through) the starting chimes. If someone could identify that for me to try, or hell, if you have an iPhone/iPod Touch, do it yourself, and see if you can get a result. The discussion above about it possibly being on the Autumn Thunder CD really had me interested, because another favorite song of mine (that has been played at Hockey games) comes from that album. Odd that I don't see it in that list, but whatever.

There is another NFL Films CD that is newer that isn't included on Autumn Thunder I believe. Midomi has a site: www.midomi.com/The only thing is that it is drawing from the user-base - it will compare your recording to other people's recordings and if there isn't anything there that matches it you're stuck. You can try the pack of themes I uploaded earlier in this thread although all of them have the announcer talking over them. Worth a shot although I don't have the time to really go through it right now. Edit: Oh, Japanese pop songs. Lots and lots of Japanese pop songs because Joysound - one of the main companies that produces karaoke tracks and machines and whatnot - seems to have uploaded bunches of stuff. I predict lots of anime stuff will be up there too. And since the recordings they are comparing them to are short in duration you have to have either various samples at different parts or know the song has a particular chorus or other part that people are more likely to remember.

One other thing is make sure the theme is older than March 16, 2002 (Sasuke 9). That's when it first appeared as his theme.

The JET TV version has the theme in it, however, we've seen JET sometimes edits videos down for various reasons, could they have edited this in? Unless someone has seen the TBS version of 9, theres really no way to know exactly when it came in. Has anyone actually seen it?

In case anyone was curious, neither Shazam nor midomi seemed to like any of the samples I threw at them :/.

Meh.. I'm trying to remember which tournaments or even Sasuke Maniac had a long intro with minimal yapping.. but I can't think of any.
Hmm would someone playing a piano of the song work? That youtube link of that kid in Japan playing the song might work?

huh.... Sasuke?
no I'm pretty sure it had it at 9... I mean if they have a long intro like that but no music about it (and its already Sasuke 9), why wouldn't they?

He means just like G4, JET got the tournaments from early on and might have put the music in there as a post production edit. It is possible but not sure if it was or not. I am not 100% certain but I believe any old versions of the show we have seen have been JET versions and not the original TBS ones.

You mean Captain Marvel, and stop throwing things at him. Dork . Meh.. I'm trying to remember which tournaments or even Sasuke Maniac had a long intro with minimal yapping.. but I can't think of any. I doubt such a thing exists, the announcer stops only for the post-run banter/interview. Hmm would someone playing a piano of the song work? That youtube link of that kid in Japan playing the song might work? Funny you should mention it, I tried that and supernova's marimba interpretation. I've tried many different sections of the song, with just no luck so far :/. I'm starting to give links out to friends (to the youtube videos and the nagano theme sample that ube clipped) who may have some obscure knowledge as to what the song may be... I have a few more friends in mind too who are potential candidates that I'll have to get in touch with here soon. [edit] Has somebody already written Monster9 and asked? :>
