What has (insert name here) been up to?

Since I've recently seen some SASUKE people on TV, here is a thread to catch up on your favorite past and present competitors. Also, it will give people something to do in the down time between shows.

The group includes several Muscle Musical people who have appeared on shows like SASUKE and KUNOICHI.

Mr. SASUKE himself, Katsumi Yamada showed up on Quiz Talent Meikan on 1/22. You can find video of the show somewhere on the web but Yamada doesn't show up until the very end of a 90 minute show. He, Dante (softbank spokesman, appeared on Geinojin Sportsman and SASUKE 21), and Ben Johnson (!) tried to run the "Fuku Otoko" race in January. The show ended with Ben and Dante at the finish area with no Yamada to be found.

And no answer the following week of the show, which had an appearance from another SASUKE old-timer, Hibari. Hibari is doing a bunch of just under the mainstream radar tv appearances and has a blog. Hibari also attended the wedding of some Muscle Musical member. That is where Yuko Mizuno pops up. Mizuno is not doing much stuff these days because she has or is trying to enter university to be dietician.

In both Quiz Talent Meikan shows (the show is on TBS by the way), Yamada and Hibari are explicitly tied to SASUKE as the show is mentioned in passing with clips of both (guess which clip of Yamada they used). Apparently it was not Hibari's first appearance on the show. This is the same program where Yamada participated in the sumo tournament. In other news, the show is slated for cancellation in the near future. Seriously.

Wakky is a semi-regular on Hono no taiikukai TV, a show I've dubbed on twitter "comedians trying to beat up girls" because almost all the challenges happen to be several comedians (all male) trying to best female athletes. It's also on TBS and gets decent ratings for some reason.
