Just a little question: What is the difference between Sponge Bridge I and II? I've been watching it recently in the UK, and I wouldn't have even known there were two versions if I hadn't seen it on Wikipedia. I'm assuming here that both versions were shown in the UK, and that they didn't only show Sponge Bridge II...

It's good to know someone around appreciates the Arm Bike as I do. Apparently G4 aired an episode here in America with Sponge Bridge II in 2008 and I don't remember the episode. Thankfully, someone has some clips of Sponge Bridge III, including the opening video, which details the differences between II and III. Sponge Bridge I: Green Zone: Straight line, fairly stable Yellow Zone: Went up slightly with rounded tops, somewhat stable Red Zone: After every few steps, they would be higher and more unstable, last seven were most unstable and higher than any other part of the course Victories: 2 (Most commonly aired, you should know how this looks) Sponge Bridge II: Green Zone: Same as I Yellow Zone: Sponges no longer are rounded but curved downward as you traversed Red Zone: These tops are now rounded and curved up as you traversed Victories: 0 ( Picture) Sponge Bridge III (Despite no one beating it, they decided to be evil anyway) Green Zone: Split apart, you have to sidestep halfway to finish Yellow Zone: Level all the way as in I, but there's a 90 degree turn halfway Red Zone: Same as II Victories: 0 (Don't know if anyone beat it period) PictureYou can maybe argue whether II to III was a difficulty buff or nerf.

You forgot to mention that the yellow zone in 1 goes a bit up and down, like it's higher in the middle and it kind of angles the steps up and down around those

Hmm, that means they only showed Sponge Bridge I in the UK. I must have misunderstood it on Wikipedia when it said that Sponge Bridge was updated without there being a victory. I thought it meant the Sponge Bridge I...

2 people won Sponge Bridge 1. That probably meant the 2 -> 3 change

Maybe G4 cut out victories in Sponge Bridge II. You know how they are with editing despite knowing the fact that they are editing the show for worldwide distribution.

I don't think so in this case. The final zone for 2 and 3 was the very same section, which generally means no one beat it. Plus, the Green Zone from what I remember wasn't that much a killer in Sponge Bridge 3 despite being split, it was either yellow or red. From what I remember about 2 even VERY few people beat the Yellow zone, I'm of the opinion they realized Sponge Bridge 2 (especially Yellow) was a bit much, so they made it much more feasible for 3 as opposed to having multiple versions of the same number like with Hand Walk II and III.

Well with Sponge Bridge they kind of had to redo it just to change something, it isn't like Hand Walk or Bamboo Derby where they could just replace an obstacle, When you only have 3 zones made up of many of practically the same pieces there isn't much room for innovation...

Your pic for SB2 says SB3. G4 editing error?

Your pic for SB2 says SB3. G4 editing error? Yeah... That's 2, if you saw it you'd hear the announcers saying it's Sponge Bridge 2. (I mainly mean the japanese commentators but I think the US ones do too). さすがジフォ (Note: "Sasuga JiFo (G4)", pretty much "As expected of G4" )

Actually that's a shot from the Sponge Bridge III preview video. It showed a clip of the full course to highlight the differences, so more my fault not distinguishing that.

The difference is they mainly changed the steps of the Yellow and Red Zone in Sponge Bridge II
