I've always wondered. Is it just stagnant dirty water or are there chemicals in it?

Probably just stagnant dirty water. I doubt they would put chemicals in the water just to make it less healthy, but then again, that is really dirty water.

Clean water in SASUKE 1, and dirty water afterwards. But it just seemed to me that stg 2 has clean water, or is it just me?

The entire course is built over 2 weeks.. the pits are usually filled in a day or so in advance.. if it rains.. well.. you know where it goes.. LOL Plus the gunk from people and just the fact that it's a mud pit.. unlined.. yeah.. it's just dirt.

They used to have little tarps over the water pits in the old days, although the more Sasuke progressed and the more obstacles and longer obstacles there were, the less there were. We haven't had clean water since single digit tournaments (Except maybe under the Rope Climb but who does that matter to (except that one guy in 5))

In future Sasuke's, the consequence of failure will to be eaten by the creature from the black lagoon

yeah they don't go through any extra trouble to make the water dirty or clean. Its just a dirt hole filed with water from a hose, however at ANW they do put a dye in the water to make it look dirty

however at ANW they do put a dye in the water to make it look dirty I never knew that. I just thought they mixed in dirt. You have to give them credit for attempting to create some sort of authenticity

I always just thought that the insides of the water-pits they used were colored red and we were seeing that through the water, never knew they really dyed it

Oh no. When you're up there staring down at that water, it's disgusting. Worse than muddy water in my opinion.

Does it look worse than on TV? Because I can tell it looks nasty there. And knew there had to be something up with why it always looked red, I know G4's obstacles are death trappy but not that bad
