Does this indicate that there may not be a Sasuke 28?

Shingo posted on his Facebook today (his personal page, not the fan page). This is the translation of his post from the Babylon Translator:
"Sasuke seems to be over, and I am sorry, and there is no help for it. I e-mail it while shedding tears. I thank Sasuke and the staff who changed the conventional memory and life. I decided to work hard as a professional of golf seriously from now on. I want you to support all of you."

Sad news. This is a final nail in the coffin for SASUKE. I wonder what's going to happen to sasukefan.com? Also, what's going to happen for ANW4? I wonder if they are going to make Boot Camp as "Final" and call it a day.

Lord knows there will be a lot of discussion about that. I'll start it shortly. I want if at all possible to keep the bankruptcy proceedings information on this thread hoping there's more information as it goes along. sasukemaniac.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=s27&thread=3966Hope that works. In the meantime would be good to see if we can find out if they even HAVE a reorganization clause in Japanese Bankruptcy law.. or if they even filed that way.

Damn... 3 years of training for nothing I wouldn't say for nothing, I mean I'm still going to keep training in hopes of something new coming around or at least anw because it's something... But hearing the news M9 is out of money and practically dead... Very crushing news...

Thinking about it more though, look at General Motors. They have been bankrupt for 3 years, and they are doing just fine. I'd say there's a 50/50 chance Sasuke is cancelled.
I think a different company will pick up the show or TBS will buy M9.

I think a different company will pick up the show or TBS will buy M9. Uhm.. a couple things. a) Yes it is possible they can reorganize but several problems exist with that model. We don't know if Japan even has reorganization clauses in their bankruptcy laws.. just because the USA has them doesn't mean the rest of the world does. Even a cursory view of the laws on wiki proves that USA is unique in this. b) Sasuke will only be held if M9 produces it. Period. I belongs to them. TBS was only a distributor and co-producer for TBS airing only. They will not buy M9. It doesn't serve them any purpose at all to have a non-functioning production company when TBS alone is a production company. c) Unless Higuchi drops dead there is no way he will relinquish Sasuke. It belongs to him personally as he was the creator of the show. Even historically all the mistakes can be directed to him since he wouldn't do a lot of things for the show because he deemed it that way. It's either Higuchi running Sasuke or no one at all. That said "spin offs" are a definite possibility since ANW and Sasuke Malaysia fall in that category. That particular discussion is in the 27 thread I created.

GM had a multi-billion dollar bailout to save them. I don't think a production company has the advantages of being saved by its country's government.

When they're this far into the hole and don't have much to produce we can pretty much kiss Sasuke goodbye... Best case scenario would be if Higuchi can get a job at TBS (Or any station willing to have a show like this) and hope they're willing to pull off a new show like Sasuke, And even if hypothetically that happened, that wouldn't even mean it is Sasuke, I mean look at Viking (which even if it wasn't dead as a doornail already, don't expect that back either), A similar show yet was still far different. Right now we can just pray G4 stops sucking with ANW and the Malaysia course steps up even more (Because while it was damn near a shorter Sasuke first stage and Final Stage, It was still only 2 stages and ni the middle of a closed off street)

If only G4 would answer my questions, I have a ton of ideas for spin-offs. I can already tell what g4fan/TCM's response will be:

Higuchi came from TBS and broke off to make his own production company (M9) a few years back. Viking stopped production because Higuchi pissed off Fuji TV so that door is closed.. most of the other TV stations stopped working with Higuchi because he's notoriously difficult. The only ones willing to keep going were TBS since Sasuke was still going strong. What might happen to Higuchi now is going to be the big question. He IS M9 since there's very little in the way of staff to begin with. If there's accounting fraud going on as well.. this case could drag on for years.. if that happens M9 will cease to be able to produce anything under the stipulations of the bankruptcy agreement.

Ah, Thanks for that little M9 history lesson, I didn't know about Higuchi's past in the business. If that's the case... Yeah... We're best off praying he comes to America and gets a job with G4
