I think I'll always see Shiratori's run in 15 as the most inspirational run in the show's history. He went from suffering from heat exhaustion and nearly not competing to getting farther than 98 of the 99 remaining competitors (Takeda was the only person who got farther if you were wondering). There are several other good ones (such as whenever Ishimaru gets far into Stage 1 and consequently shows that age is only a number), but Shiratori's run in 15 will always be on top IMO. Mr Octopus in 26 Yes, I'm serious You'd better be.

Mr Octopus in 26 Yes, I'm serious You are a terrible person if you WEREN'T cheering for him. It wasn't that. How many people failed the step slider and hazard swing? And this 63 year old was surpassing them all

And this 63 year old was surpassing them all That's (for me) why I loved his run. He outdid a decent amount on the first two obstacles and was about half a revolution away from getting to the Jumping Spider. He got closer to the JS than a couple finalists, let alone a few comedians and athletes.

Kanno Hitoshi's 23 run was pretty good... sadly I think he might become the new Mr. SASUKE in more ways than 1. Best result SASUKE 3 = MR SASUKE Final Stage / Best Result so far Kanno = Final Stage SASUKE 23. Correlation? I have no problem with either competitors... but I think this is what is going to happen.
