Strat at least to the jumping bars shown by a clip on attack of the show.

He probably came as an alternate, or maybe he competed in the non-ANW portion?

Also just a point of mentioning... Travis did clear with 43 seconds left. I compared the layout of the timers from other competitions and the seconds are always in between the two ' marks. the timer reads: 00'43'9? just as Yuuji's timer in 24 read 00'24'35. So yeah we've got a new 1st stage record. Exactly. There are two 0s before the first ' and 43 before the second '. Incredible. Well David finished even faster with 44 seconds! This is easily the most lenient time limit ever. I was expecting no more than 110 seconds. Also, since when has David had a Flying Bar at home?

I have to say I'm relieved that Stage 2 took out so many Americans. Having 9 of 10 ANW guys make it through Stage 1, and the one who didn't because of injury, felt sad for the Sasuke franchise, particularly if the Japanese competitors don't do well. I'm not rooting against any of the ANW guys in particular, but it only feels "right" if Mt. Midoriyama takes out its share of competitors.
I don't need to use spoiler bars on this thread at this point, right?

No you're talking about ANW3 so it's fine slam.

I feel like lostinube, taking note of the time left in the special, and making a guess as to whether anyone gets to the final stage based on that.
Oh, David, you had it! Better luck next time. I hope there is a next time. It certainly showed that it can be done.
I hope one of the non-Americans made it past the UCH.

Ugh he was SO close I just wanted to see someone clear the cliffhanger by that point because although it is meant to be a monster so many people have gone down on it at this point.
Oh well at least there is progress being made even it it is three ledges of the monster a tournament, but hey still get to see the Japanese and Lee run the course so there is that.
As well as Paul almost had the small ledge great effort on his part.

Somehow, it seemed fitting for David to fall there, also, Metal Spin was pretty deadly in 27, wonder who else failed it, I hope a lot of japanese competitors make it.

Anyone notice the chalk on the last ledge before Paul Kasemir made his run? I don't know if they pre-chalk each ledge on the UCH, but if not then it appears that at least one non-American competitor made it to the final ledge.

I noticed that to not sure what that was about, but it never hurts to hope for the best I guess.
