Very simple question, but in your opinion which course is truely harder?
In the 3 tournaments in Viking an average of 7 people cleared the First Stage, however on average only one person cleared the Second.
Compare that with the average of 5 people who have cleared the Shin-Sasuke First Stage and an average of about 2-3 people clearing the Second.

Out of the two I'd say Shin Sasuke. Granted the odds would say Viking but if you really compare the obstacles it would go to the new course. Its more of a physical course while Viking is more luck and brains, not saying it isn't physical but compare the obstacle and you'll really notice that. Although I'd still fail one of those math obstacles on Viking though.

Sasuke. Granted the Final Viking was ridiculously hard but I would say almost unfairly so.

Viking.. hands down.. I mean I love Sasuke.. but Viking had major issues with it .. no one got that far because of it. Remember that it was Viking that inspired a lot that is ON Sasuke right now.. there's a reason for that.. which is why I picked Viking.

Some parts are hard... some ae easy. It's hard to compae because they are actually really different. Vikings third stage for instance, I think is WAAAY easier than the Sasuke's stage 3. But yu have to do 1 part of it directy after stage 2, and thn you choose between ototo 9 or whatever. Infact, damn... viking it to confusing, it's too complicated >=o There's like 9 stages, I swear. Anyway... I'd say viking is harder, because it's a mix of brains and brawn, but personally it looks easier for me than Sasuke. As if I tried both courses out, I'd have more sucess on viking. So it's really tough to call. And I've actually thought about this questino before... And now Im just rambling... ugh, I don't know, screw it.

Is there somewhere I can watch the Viking Episodes besides crappy YouTube quality? I've read about Viking, and I'd much rather just watch it.
And weren't there only 4 seasons, or did I just misread?

For US viewers, youtube (well not anymore) was pretty much the only way to watch it. Now that youtube is no longer an option and ESPN (which I think still has the license) doesn't show it anymore, there's not much we can do...Also, there were only 3 seasons that I could find results for and the first one was only for athletes and celebrities. That's normal Viking, they also had Celebrity and Family Viking.

Sasuke, I still think Nagano had time to complete Final Viking, he just mysteriously ran out of steam only 5m away with 30sec left? Really? The man later climbed 22.5m (or was that before?) in 30sec. I SMELL CONSPIRACY!

Sasuke 17 was after Viking 2, By a year and a half I think. And climbing all the way across that one rope isn't a joke either. I don't see how just staying there instead of keeping going helped his arms at all though.

Nah you lost forward momentum. You can hang in one place but the power to keep going up is lost. I've seen this happen. If he had another minute his grip would have been lost entirely and he would have dropped on his own.

He simply ran out of strength to the point where he physically couldn't move any more.

I bet if he used his legs to push himself up, he could've done it =o
Shows how hard he was trying though, if he literally had NO strength left.
Final viking was a biotch...

I think there's only 3 'nrmal' Vikings and the rest were Family and Celecbrity shows. But Nagano was in 2 of them- he made the Final Viking in the 1st one and failed the Math Parley in the first stage in the 2nd one. That sucked!

I'd love to see a GOOD copy of the regular Vikings with the All-stars in it. I've never seen the Nagano fail one (other than a short blip) and the quality on them has been horrendous for the ones we did find.
