So for a while now, I've wanted to do a Top 10 Runs in SASUKE History compilation. I'm just now having the motivation to do it. I already know what the top 2 are going to be, although I'm a bit wishy washy as to which is #1. However, I want you guys to fill in 3-10. There won't be a scoring system here, I just want suggestions as to which runs you think are the best of all time.
There are a few rules to this: *This is not sorted by result. I'm looking more as to the influence or emotion this run provided to SASUKE. (However, the majority of these runs will probably be Third Stage or beyond.) *The three kanzenseihas are out. I'm not sure if they'd be Top 3 but they'd be pretty far up there, and that would make this slightly less interesting. *I'm considering making only one run per competitor (otherwise, Nagano would probably have 4 or 5 runs in the top 10). The most I will allow is 2. *You will tend to see a lot of Shin-SASUKE runs, simply because by comparison the earlier courses were quite simple (37 clearing Stage 1) but also because the later SASUKEs had far higher production value.
All I need you to do is leave your suggestions below. Once I have my Top 10 list, I will

Yamada in 6. It gave us IMO the most WTF reaction to failing the end of Stage 3. Even more than Tajima in 24.

Yamada in the final in Sasuke 3 and Nagano's kanzenseiha in Sasuke 17 are the two that really come to mind. Although the most famous Yamada scene (thanks to TBS) is the infamous "Sasuke is my life" scene from Sasuke 10. Akiyama's first stage run in Sasuke 11 is also a good one.

Jordan Jotchev in Sasuke 8.
1. Clears stage 1 with 0 seconds on the clock 2. Gets to the final stage on his first attempt at Sasuke 3. The first foreigner to try the final stage 4. Failed the spider walk portion of the final stage (Only time it happend) 5. Epic rain final stage

I'd probably put Shiratori's run in 15 somewhere up there, with him overcoming heat exhaustion to ultimately make it farther than everyone else (save Takeda).

A dark horse contender should be Nakata Daisuke's runs in both SASUKE 17 and SASUKE 21.
Nakata is deceptively gutsy, and he really showed his heart in both tournaments.

I agree, he cleared Stage 1 both times - with bad wrists.
We also need to put in Brian Orosco in Sasuke 21 and his gutsy dive for the button with less than a second to go.
Or perhaps Urushihara coming out of nowhere in 22 to NEARLY achieve kanzenseiha. Or even Kanno establishing himself as a top contender in 23.

I think Chie Nishimura's S2 run needs a spot somewhere on the list.
This may seem a bit odd, but there was an older man, 57 I think, who made it to the Crooked Wall in S13. He was the one who tripped on the Bridge of Blades and stumbled all the way to the Jump Hang's trampoline before barely catching himself. After clearing the Jump Hang, he had a rough wipeout on the Crooked Wall before trying again and failing it.

Okuyama in 26 for sure. To be the last remaining japanese competitor, carrying all that weight, completing stage 2 with a fraction of a second left. He got SPECIAL clear music for that. Even after-wards he tied for getting the furthest and did way better on the UCH than last time.

The 10 have been decided! I have a school video project (yes, a school one. I realize school isn't in session.) to work on but I'll begin work as soon as possible.

Takeda 24 Yamada falling off the side of the third stage end platform Takeda 21 I second these. Also, Kane Kosugi 8.

10. Kongu Takahashi, SASUKE 23 When Yuuji first reached the final he struggled in stg 3 a lil bit too. And in 23, he tore it just to fail the final jump. POOR GUY AND GOOD VENEGANCE IN 24.
9. Hashimoto Koji, SASUKE 24 After failing miserably in 23 his run and near-kanzenseiha was completely unexpected.
8. Urushihara Yuuji, SASUKE 22 Did we expect a qualifier to beat Nagano's record in 21? Nice.
7. Akiyama Kazuhiko, SASUKE 11 Great comeback for the 1st champion and amazing stg 1 clear.
6. Nagano Makoto, SASUKE 16 He nailed the Devil Balanco like nothing and make it easy. He needed credit.
5. Yamamoto Shingo, SASUKE 5 That's why I love the old stage 2.
4. Levi Meuweenberg, SASUKE 20 Beaten Takeda's speed record and crushes stg 1 and 2. Simply awesome.
3. Okuyama Yoshiyuki, SASUKE 26 Last Japanese left and that comeback was amazing.
2. Jordan Jovtchev, SASUKE 8 Nothing to say. Amazing debut.
1. Yamada Katsumi, SASUKE 10 To me this is better and 6. Only all star to clear stg 1 and said the famous word.

Yamada Koji - Sasuke 12. Only the second competitor wearing the #1 placard to clear the first stage and went all the way to the cliffhanger in his first attempt at Sasuke. That was a helluva run.

Chie Nishimura's Sasuke 2 run was not very monumental at the time, but now, considering no other female has cleared the first stage, it has ended up being a very unique and memorable run.
I also really like Shingo's Sasuke 5 since he beat the odds and nearly made the final stage a single tournament after the course was beaten.
Why are people (including me) still giving suggestions?! Hasn't thatoneuser already decided?!
