I think it's safe to say we all like Sasuke. But of these eight popular game shows that feature obstacle course most, if not all, the time, which are your two favorite?

I think you need to include "Other," because I can see you're missing The Amazing Race, Cha$e, Fun House, Masters of the Maze, and you can make a case for having Crystal Maze/Fort Boyard, Fear Factor, Finders Keepers, Dog Eat Dog, Estate of Panic, and several more on there.

I gotta go for comedy. MXC is a no-brainer for me, and Wipeout (lawsuits and personal opinions of the G4 board residents aside) was highly entertaining for me while it was on. But Banzuke and Legends of the Hidden Temple is/were really good too.

I picked what I believe are the best eight (plus I forget all about "other"). The ones you listed I don't feel had the same obstacle cours-ness as the eight choices. That and some I just haven't seen/heard of.

lol MXC is hilarious, but completely stupid. It's the only one I really watch aside from Sasuke. It's really Takeshi's castle and TBS footage, and it's dubbed and edited but not in the manner of 'ninja warrior.' Because MXC makes fun of it self with all the immature humor, NW stays serious (which just comes off corny sometimes because it's just a watered down verison of Sasuke).

O man is this tough. For me, it comes down to the Nickelodeon obstacle course shows, as that is what I watched growing up. Honestly for me, Legends of the Hidden Temple gets the nod over GUTS.

Takeshi's Castle, the UK version. Never seen the original, and can't stand MXC for more than two minutes.

I LOVED legends of the hidden temple, and loved GUTS because it was a kids version of American Gladiator, which was the show I wanted to grow up for, JUST so I could compete! That didn't happen... and the new one sucks.
But hey... now I get my snowballs chance in hell toward Sasuke though, right? Much better ethical show to compete for.

Lars, Nickelodeon in the 90s (which is when many of us were growing up) had tons of great shows and great game shows like Legends and GUTS. Ahh, good memories.

Guts was -the show- to me back then since I couldn't do AG. Then Legends came along and thought it was awesome, and figured it was the new version of Fun House (Anyone else remember that one? That one was from my elementary years... Gosh...
