I'm gonna go with 97. I think Yuuji, Lee and Okuyama will be ahead of him. I just reckon they'll do something a bit different. Exactly this.

Hey, he persistently requested to be moved down from #100. The only reason it happened is because Yuuji became the champion. Had that not happened Nagano would still be #100. This is ture. How ever at that time, he was the Grand Champion AND he was putting up results. He isn't anymore. With those facts, he'd have more of a case to get... say... 95? But the truth is, he will be 99 for a while, no matter how well Okuyama, Li, Kongu ect... are doing.

As long as he's seen by the majority of people as the most successful and recognizable competitor on Sasuke (which will probably be forever), I can see no reason why they'd ever not put him in at least the final 5 to run. As a matter of fact, he hasn't had a number lower than 96 since Sasuke 9, and I can't imagine any immediate reason why this would occur in 27.

Does anyone think that Nagano's number may be the reason he's failing?

Does anyone think that Nagano's number may be the reason he's failing? No... why would it be?

Does anyone think that Nagano's number may be the reason he's failing? That wouldn't make any sense... His number in 25 and 26 was 99, Know his number in 17? 99... He wouldn't fail because of his number, especially if he has won with the same exact number..

I doubt it because he has done well with it. It wouldn't matter which time he ran the course because everyone expects so much from him so even with a low number he'd have high pressure. He has to just try and stay calm and not think too much; which is easier said than done.

I am sure he will stay at 99. Does anyone think that Nagano's number may be the reason he's failing? Nah... He did win with 99 you know.
