Yeah, the trivia game is screwed now, theres some stuff that Wiki does not have and you can only prove through youtube. Like the Salmon Ladder Difference or Youngest Clear ones I asked   And looking through the Sasuke thread at Rider's Realm, looks like all the old vids that were hidden by various sources (not theguy) are gone too. |

A regret I have is never learning how to rip vids right off of YouTube, or else I'd have some SASUKE videos in my collection.

There are some programs that rip to FLV. Vixy.net was great when it worked. There were some other sites that ripped vids for you to but I don't remember what they were called. (well its irrelavent now)

we still have... kelshihead (sp)  nah dont like the british commentator... ummm cant understand spanish (im failing spanish 1), there stilll sum sasuke left, one account has nagano's 17 run, but u guys prob alrdy saw it and know of the channel, tahst all i can think of BYC has a few sauske vids up, but nuttin like theguy |

Activity here, I hope still continues but we'll see. Hopefully, this doesn't drop off.
As far as bringing the youtube site up again, that's never going to happen, my account is permanently disabled.

it took like 2 hours to upload my 2 minute training video >=o
He had 200+ vids all longer than that.

Youtube uploads just fine for me, I get 4 minutes up in in 1, the processing takes longer though.

yeah, don't think Leon is a jock. Just a punk kid who gets in a bunch of fights at school =p Leon does irritate me though, even after he was wrong he tried playing it off. He may look like a punk, but he's all Jock. His attitude is that he's the best at everything because might makes right. And he's got the most might, just ask him. He's never wrong, despite something like a little ole thing called a..what's that word..oh yeah FACT..that proves he's wrong. He'll never admit it as he's too busy looking into his vanity mirror to notice much else. And all he'll do is start up another argument to distract from the fact that he was wrong and continues to be wrong by going to greater lengths to prove how right he is. He's a lost cause as long as he lets his Ego do the talking. I've never posted on the G4 boards and from the sounds of it, I am happy I never have. I'll have to call you on the G4 board thing for one reason. During ANC2, there was a lot of love and community going, with all of us supporting the entries from first view to last run on the Ninja Killer. There we no favorites, we just wanted to see who would be going, as all 6 gave it their all. The VS mode didn't sit well with some, but overall, it was an improvement from ANC1. And we all loved watching it and gave our respects to the winners AND those who didn't get to go on to Japan. It was definitely the best time to be on the NW boards. Of course, G4 can't leave well enough alone and F'ed up ANC3 with a straight up popularity contest. Then the bickering and hating started, and that's when it all went to $#!^ with idiots like Hyperturtle and Leon coming on board spouting a bunch of crap. So between that and everyone watching Sasuke 21 online instead of the much inferior Ninja Warrior 2 months after the fact, that's what killed it off and made it the wasteland it is today. In fact, the demise of the channel, I hate to say it, might also kill the amount of activity on these boards.... Whether G4 fails or not will probably not end these boards. As long as there is Sasuke, I'm sure the lot of us will continue to come back and keep this community alive. From above, most people came here to avoid the crap going on there and have stayed as this is where that community and respect has migrated to. We all come here to share in the show that we love and that's something they can never take away. Not G4. Not Moster9. Not TBS. We are what keeps this alive and as long as we stay and make these boards what they are now, then there shouldn't be any worry about these boards failing. |

YOU HAVE CHANGED.. at least in that department.. you still cause me great pain.. but that's because I'm totally generation gapped and kids these days drive me up the wall. LOL But seriously you've come a long way! Unfortunately pjwasz these suspensions are permanent. Unless he comes up with another email address he can't ressurect it. he'd have to start over from scratch.. and if you had the amount of stuff he had.. you'd wouldn't want to re up load that again only to see it torn down.. Maybe others can learn how he did it and do it on their own? I know I've learned throughout this year how to record things and people have been really good in getting their own stuff  I know the paid service for JNet (which I do not deny is expensive) has been a glorious addition to the fold. And the best visual .. period .. for us outside of Japan. My only suggestion is emailing back and forth links to rapid share and things like that rather than using a streaming site. And the crux of the whole thing.. whether we like it or not.. whether we think it's unfair. They are right. It's copyrighted material and it doesn't belong to us. Solution? EMAIL MONSTER 9 AND DEMAND DVDS!!!!!!! I mean dangit.. the best shows on TV (and even bad shows) have DVD box sets. They'd make a financial killing selling tv broadcasts of these show for the public overseas. They already do it for their other TBS shows.. so what gives??? I think if enough people request it it will happen. Right now people have been relying on YouTube and people like snoi to do their homework for them. I agree with everything you just said arsenette. A DVD box set would be awesome, but just an official Sasuke web site would suffice. It's so hard to get any stats or info at all, so I'm thankful for people like you and ube who give us some information. I'm fortunate to be living in Taiwan and have access to JEt TV, which shows shows the Sasuke competitons (TBS broadcasts) every weekend. Anyways, thanks! We appreciate it! |
