I need to join metal that doesn't involve welding, rope or even duct tape.
I can't use pressure either because this is building the ring for a Gliding Ring. They peices are half of a circle with two short bars going out at one side (some kind of guardrails from a playground that doesn't exist anymore). So how do I do this?

scotch tape! but rly i i'd supose you could cut a holein the metal than stick the metal rods inside one another

I don't have tools either. And you do know they're symetrical and have parts bigger on the end of the bars (Which are the same size as the rest of the bars)

Then you can't do anything... seriously. If you are THAT restricted it's better to just not do it I mean, why can't you use duct tape? Not that it would work or anything, but why?

Because I don't have the duct tape. I mean possible I could go buy some but I don't know how much duct tape costs, and if I have money I don't want to be wasting it to just temporarily make one obstacle. Although there might be some bars that can hold those bars together, I'll check when I go to there. Hell, I don't even know if the track can reach as far as planned (Pretty sure it can though). Hell, worst comes to terrible I could just take some time, take one of the guard rails and break that plastic chain net (which is the worst final climb training I've ever done ) off of the concrete block (that held it into the ground) and the bar. Hell, if the swings are somewhere there then problem solved altogether, I mean the yellow straight slide thats been gone for years was there last time I was there.

Because it didn't occur to me until I was posting that last post of mine
EDIT: Well it doesn't matter anyways, turns out all the peices are gone.

I actually wanted to do something like this myself (Until Leon made me feel like an idiot for wanting to do it...), so I did research and this is what I found out: There are pipe-yards that sell large, long pipes, and you can buy from them. If you want one bent (I was going to do the arm rings with my idea), you basically have to see if you can get lucky and get a Minecke (Or place similar to that... I am drawing a blank as to what the name of the establishment is...) to bend the said pipe. However, that would cost mega bucks. Also, if you want to go cheaper, take the pipe from above and rent a pipe-bender from the place you bought the pipe. I think you could buy one for about $50, and then sell it when done, or whatever you want to do. Although thats the cheaper method, it's also far difficult. You take the pipe, measure out the distance between bends, and then use the machine to bend each individual bend. And don't forget, if you screw up once, you're done. Believe me, it's harder than it seems! However, if you are keeping it straight, then you can ignore all that Good luck, and I'd like to see pics when you're done!

My budget was $0 and doubt it would be permanent. Couldn't get pics anyways.
But none of that matters as the peices are gone.

rider theres this thing called a job. and you see, you work and you get payed, not in funny picture, but in something called money. Of course, I have yet to find a job that pays in common sense. 0 money + 0 materials=what now?
