2.) Have the Boot Camp eliminations where the bottom 2 on the last place team automatically climb the rope. This would avoid "...but I'm a 5 year fan, I HAVE to go to Japan..." Although in terms of fairness, you are right. In terms of entertainment, and the reality+Controversial aspect, I think it should stay. Who isn't going to be interested in how that guy does during ANW3? Yeah as much as I hate to admit it... it's true. It's the dumb reality drama that actually makes us invested in the competitors... otherwise they have no story or character behind them, just a name. Do we really care then?

I don't think we would. ANW1 was horrid, simply because I didn't know any of the competitors. I just waited for Levi and Brian, and a few others to go on.

The average viewer most likely won't care anyway. The synthetic "drama" doesn't make me care about the competitors. It makes me bored and somewhat nauseous.
Why not just use TBS's method of showing quick backgrounds? I for one have always found that fascinating and much more captivating than pseudo-reality stuff..

I guess I saw the entire competition differently. There seemed to be strong camaraderie between teams- everyone cheered and encouraged one another regardless of teams. The "drama" was fairly strong when it occurred, but it only lasted like 1 minute of each broadcast. I don't understand how removing the drama would make us less interested in the competitors? How would they have no story? Everything I gleaned about their character came from the interviews. The competition aspect would still be there, it would just remove the uncomfortable elimination discussions. Still in the end, two teammates have to go against each other.

They didn't need those dumb necklaces and the fire places and the suspensful eliminations or the pressure challenges with punishments in general. The rest of the Boot Camp wasn't horrible though. It's a neat idea to take them to some far away place and train them on specific obstacles to see who the real top 10 are, eliminating the people who weaseled their way in.
Basically it's a good idea, but the format was really retarded.

I'm not even sold on that crap. I think they should just build a few little stages, make them hard as hell and let those who pass go.

If you don't know what sound effect I'm talking about, WATCH ANY TWO REALITY SHOW, AND YOU WILL HEAR THAT SOUND EFFECT. It's freaking cheesy and annoying, if you take that out, than ANW2's boot camp would be less cheesy and annoying.

I'm not even sold on that crap. I think they should just build a few little stages, make them hard as hell and let those who pass go. That would be ideal, however you'd still need a system to where only 10 could go. How would you decide that? And what if only like 1 person passed? G4 certainly wouldn't be happy with those results. The best would probably be 4 stages like Sasuke has, and the top 10 go. Simple as that. If only 1 person completes the whole thing, then they start choosing who got the closest to clearing (probably using some BS method as always). If more than 10 people cleared, they'd have to narrow it down somehow.

Apparently G4 had some "meetings and discussions" today about the new ANW.

Apparently G4 had some "meetings and discussions" today about the new ANW. 10 bucks the "meeting" consisted of: Neal Tiles, 2 baboons, a gold fish, Olivia Munn, and a plucky intern in a suit. I still think new ANW = new Sasuke. They won't pull it off before March, so I believe Sasuke 28 is pretty much confirmed (waiting to be crucified by fellow Maniacs).

Olivia doesn't work for g4 anymore.

Yeah, even if that news story of Sasuke ending is true, Sasuke 27 is still a possiblity. And now with ANW3, I'm pretty sure we will see a Sasuke 27.

G4 can't pull off another ANW in 1 month, therefore, ANW will be for Sasuke 28.

I... I kind of agree. Unless G4 totally half-a**es ANW3, I don't think they can pull it off this quickly.
Then again, ANW3 could always be its own thing. No Sasuke required.

Well if G4's intern is to be believed.. there isn't one in March since TBS hasn't told them it's scheduled.. then again.. we might have a repeat of 26 and have them pull it out of their a$$ in 2 weeks.. Either way I doubt ANW3 is for 27... unless TBS is taking their time and moving it to the fall. Only time will tell at this point. I'm glad Nagano wasn't told it was over... I actually have hope for at least one more. Thanks guys for keeping us updated on what NW FB says. I try limiting my exposure to the stupid there.. LOL

One reasoning against your argument...
It's March.
NOBODY, not even Nagano, has heard anything about it. They usually give at least 2 weeks notice to the competitors before they tape, add anywhere between 2 and 6 weeks to edit (for you new kids, they used to tape two weeks before air, not this 2 1/2 month crap).

Well for "taping" of Sasuke it could still be this month.. we do have 4 weeks left And Nagano's message was from mid-late February. He's used to the cancellation messages especially since he's surprised it's still going considering how bad the ratings are. That said being an ANW thread.. yeah.. I do agree that there's no way that ANW3 will be tied to 27 IF (and that's a big IF) Sasuke 27 is this month. If TBS is trying to fix the problem they might delay 27 to later in the season but unsure when they will. While I believe ANW3 will be later in the year (most likely summer again) they might be doing a late spring/early summer one this time around if they are saying it's "coming earlier than expected". Given also that last year they gave us what.. almost 4 months run up to ANW2.. they could theoretically be talking about a summer ANW again just announcing it earlier.. who knows.
