That's good news. I think you're right; M9 "accidentally" leaked the rumor that Sasuke might end to see what the reaction to that would be in Japan. We foreigners would like to see more Sasuke tournaments, but M9 doesn't count us, do they? They only count the people in Japan. I hope the people in Japan want to see more Sasuke. Nah M9 doesn't care about us in a way where it would be directly important to Sasuke in Japan. I mean they are interested in G4 catering to us so they won't piss them off.. but the article itself was in Japan written in Japanese talking about Japanese shows in Japan. WE of course care to find out if it was rumor or not.. but the article did do what it was supposed to.. got people talking about Sasuke. Though one funny sidenote.. when the news first broke.. it was hilarious.. the fanbase lost their marbles all trying to figure out what Yamada is going to do with the rest of his sorry life.. (yes.. that was the translation (not google). Some wanted to know if he was going to commit suicide, most wanted him to actually get a job.. and the rest wanted to know if he should store the obstacles.. LOL

Is that the article with all of the pictures of Yamada? I came across that the other day. I couldn't really understand the translation (stupid Google translator), but I liked the pictures. There were some that I had never seen before, like the one of him on his bike (where's his helmet!?) and several others.

That's just one of over 100 sites.. everything from blogs to 2ch and everything in between. Friends of mine in Japan have even run into people talking about it and specifically with what is going to happen to Yamada if the show is done. It's more of a joke right now than anything else.

Hopefully this buzz about Sasuke ending will make 27 have good ratings, and a 28 could become more possible.

And this is the reason I don't want to come to a conclusion. Although everything led to the information in the article being accurate, until in comes out of the mouths of TBS or M9, you can never be 100% certain.

Seriously no news at all has come out since that one article? This is getting more and more frustrating.

Again, it's much better they keep it quite now, that way when they re announce it, the buzz will return. They should STFU about it.

Seriously no news at all has come out since that one article? This is getting more and more frustrating. 1) Are you actively looking for news on the web or just waiting for people to post news here? If it's the latter, you really should be doing the former. 2) Even when SASUKE was a "regular" thing, news between shows was rare to begin with. Other than the news article, this is the way things usually go with them.

How can you find articles without being able to read japanese? I don't see that stopping other people on this board from trying to look for information.

This isn't related to Sasuke directly, but it's about TBS. This article went up a couple of days ago. If you run it through the Google translator, it seems to be saying that TBS is going to be reorganizing to try to get better ratings. At least I think that's what it's saying. Maybe someone (looks at Ube) can give a better translation. primestage.blog118.fc2.com/blog-entry-1277.htmlI don't know what this means for Sasuke. Maybe the reorganization will help with the ratings for TBS, which has been struggling lately, and maybe they'll be able to continue doing Sasuke. I guess we just have to wait and see.

From wise commentor number 22: "Let me stop the cut-off SASUKE The stink of it alive until it can not breathe Yamada convulsed with laughter twice a year." ;D You have to admit, it's hard finding things!

I've seen that article. The link to the original is at the bottom of the article. It's been reprinted a few times already.

Sorry for ASKING, sheesh. aahahahaha fair enough.. though you did walk into it Usually I check a variation of words, names, dates, etc. (yes.. in kanji) for what I'm looking for. Google is by far my biggest friend. Over the past few years though.. you tend to know where to look first without resorting to Google. Though by far... Ube finds the bigger stuff since he actually knows how to read and write Japanese. Just mentioning how scnoi and I do it.

When I found the article I posted, I had gone to Google blogs and searched for "sasuke tbs" and limited it to things posted within the past week.
