Good News for you then! Challenge is finally getting 'new' episodes about 2 years after the last new ones.
'Series 4' will start on the 5th May at 10pm.
Expect more 'Sharing cups of tea with Nagano' etc. ;D

First episode appears to be an hour long so I'd guess that is Competition 1. Then we should get Competitions 21-25 (I doubt 26, being so soon etc.) and Kunoichi 8 (expect much "Where is Ayokoooo Miyokayyyy?!"). Obviously this might change and they might hold some more back for later series but we'll see.
Even though I've seen them, I'm so excited just because I love the crazy stuff the commentator Stuart Hall says.

Wasn't sure since some countries are skipping NW 23 and going from 22 directly to 24. Was checking to see what UK was doing.

What?! Why are they skipping 23?! It was an awesome competition. Right well when it airs, if 23 isn't there, will have to kick some a** (aka. send a strongly worded email and possibly cry in the dark.)

Because the competition was not complete in the G4 edited version. They took out the Americans (as they will be doing with 26...) That's been a sore topic among the countries who buy the G4 edited version. They don't buy ANW so relying on the NW version they are stuck with an incomplete program... So some countries have made their decision and not bought 23.

Nice to hear this. Also it could mean GXT (Italy) is going to do the same, since we're stuck at the same point as UK (no sasuke 1, no 20-25). Oh man, if they really cut 23 out I'll be SO pissed at G4.

Yeah that's been my point of contention for quite a while now.. G4 controls the overseas product so I get pissed when they fail to realize what happens to their edited product outside of the USA. Obviously they don't give a damn about the other 150+ countries.. I feel bad for you guys having to take the brunt of this.

It'll be interesting to see what happends! If they somehow edit in the Americans from ANW1 into Sasuke 23, hopefully that means something for other countries as well. If not... than... oh well, thank god I don't live in Europe

That's good news! I honestly thought most other countries abandoned NW for good. You'll love seeing Sasuke 1 if you haven't already seen it.
Can't wait to see the youtube clips of Stuart going batty over Yuuji's victory:
"Come on Yuuji my boy get up that rope! Look at those strong legs, the paragon of fitness and vigor. I've had my eye on him since all day. Go Yuuji You-rushie-hara! Oh he's done it! Oh boy! Look at that! My God how brilliant! He's our newest Ninja Warriah! My favorite has done it!"

Even though I've only seen the UK version with Stuart Hall a handful of times, I love the version where he commentates 1000000+ times better than the US version with Dave Wittenberg. The things Hall says and how he acts are really funny IMO.

Aw you guys don't like Dave's clever comminatary@ !?!? "The wall was too much for the dancer" "He couldn't handle the Jumping Spider." "No more monkeying around for the monkey trainer." s***'s gold honestly. Pure gold.

I'd rather have the Japanese announcer, at least he's real time. Just watched K4
#100 begines to wobble
SH: She'll need to
#100 falls in
SH: blah blah blah
About 3 seconds later
SH: Oh she's fallen in

It's more fun than it is informative! EDIT: I just checked. He's 81. God Bless him!
