Kane Kosugi and Shunsuke Nagasaki seem to be the 2 strongest competitiors that completely left Ninja Warrior with a real chance of total victory. What do you think would have been if both continued to train and compete without leaving?
Given the young ages of both when they left, I think it's a foregone conclusion each would have another crack at the Final Stage, so it just becomes a matter of whether they improve their quickness on it. Shunsuke is still very young and could easily be one of the best if he were to begin training and return now.
I'm convinced that we would be talking about both of them as better competitiors than Toshihiro Takeda, Shingo Yamamoto, etc if they had the longevity in Sasuke to back it up.

Kane would have been an all-star, Nagasaki would be leading the New Stars

The All-Stars were created for the sole reason of picking up where Kane left off, whose to say the All-Stars would even exist?

Is that why Ōmori Akira isn't an all-star?

Is that why Ōmori Akira isn't an all-star? Among other reasons. Such as... I dont think he's passed 3 obstacles since Sasuke 3, and there were no "All-Stars" until Sasuke 9, and he was long gone by then.

C'mon Iams. I defend you, but you need to proofread your posts lol.
As for Ōmori Akira, he just isn't ready for today's Sasuke. Although he is light, he needs more muscle in those bones.
Back in the early days of Sasuke, you needed some strength, but it was agility and lightness on your feet that propelled you through the stage. Today, it's strength, agility, luck, balance, lightness... well alot more than components are needed than in the earlier Sasukes.

I meant obstacles. Anyway Monkikki is agile, but not balanced enough. yeah, but he didnt pass them. So Sheeps statement holds true. Anyways, he could never have been an allstar even if he did keep up his pre-akiyama win preformances... for the reason he's a celebrity outside of sasuke. Same reason why Kane wouldnt have been one of the allstars would have even existed.
