I'm sorry, but we speak English here.
Could someone translate the obstacle names? I was at a loss for how you came up with 8 first stage obstacles (I counted 6) until I looked at Wikipedia and could actually read it.
I'm sorry for getting upset, but it annoys me to no end when people here use the Japanese names. Maybe it's just me, but it comes across as pretentious and a useless demonstration of in-depth Sasuke knowledge.

If karma was still around, I would've given you a karma package hey guys, I'm not tryin to sound like a smartass or anything. but if you aint got no stats, then don't bother posting anything. This is a god damn SASUKE Forum, not a "Ninja Warrior" Forum. This is why most of us here joined. We enjoy watching without understanding a damn word the competitors and commentators have to say. Anyways. Back on topic. Here are the English Obstacle Names. 1. Barrel Climb 2. Spinning Log 3. Rapid Descent 4. Hill Climb 5. Balance Bridge 6. Just a Big Pole That Wastes a Competitors Time (No Name) 7. Free Climbing 8. Honestly I think the stats aren't needed. We have sasukepedia... It should be enough. Watch the tournament if you want more info.

I mean it's unnecessary to post a thread here with stats for each tournament. We have sasukepedia and the special place for that....

SASUKEpedia is the only place I we go to put stats down. I'm putting stats for SASUKE:A Legend on my own wiki. There's ALOT to work on though. My policy is only put stats on the wiki. Just like Sasukepedia. Didn't you get banned Manu?

I too prefer the english names for the more harder to pronounce obstacles. Like said above you can always see these stats in wikipedia and if youre gonna post them make sure people can read it. I dont know half the obstacles you listed either in those japanese names. I dont really care if its Japanese or english as long as i know what obstacle is getting talked about. This is a god damn SASUKE Forum, not a "Ninja Warrior" Forum.

I mean i know all the G4 names in order by heart (save sasuke 16). But I think if someones going to put the japanese name that ISNT obvious, (rolling maruta) then you shuld put the G4 names ion paraenthesis

Not even the G4 names. I'm talking the english translated version of the japanese names. That's how Sasukepedia should be.
Not the G4 names.
Nor the japanese names
But the english versions of the japanese names.

Nor the japanese names But the english versions of the japanese names. No. Here's why: How often have you heard people talk about how high the Slanted Wall is or how easy the Six Step Jump is. I'm sorry but that sounds awful. Here, the Japanese names are fine if they use English words. For others, just use the G4 translations as they are pretty good and common (see: Warped Wall). I agree that using all Japanese names is a bit much, but using translations of Japanese names definitely isn't the way to go. As for SASUKEpedia, it is an encyclopedia so it should be as accurate to the show as possible. Using translations loses its accuracy.

Fair enough. I wasn't aware that G4 changed that many names.
But, as a person viewing your website, my opinion still stands, I can't understand information. It would be annoying for some, but useful for many, if you included the G4 versions of the obstacles for some stats, but it would crowd it.
It's still annoying.

You can click on every obstacle if you aren't sure what the name of the obstacle is. In every page where there is a name change, it lists the G4 version as well.

Fortunately, nearly all Sasuke obstacles nowadays have English names. In other words you don't need to say Bridge of Destiny when the Japanese name is Climbing Bars. When an obstacle is completely in Japanese, however, just use the G4 names. This is especially useful when talking about older tournaments.

No, yeah, I am aware that the website mentions it, And I like that you are all about keeping things exact, I respect that, I just prefer ease and convenience.
