Simple question of opinion: how long do you think Sasuke broadcasts should be (commercials included)?
I said 2-3 because if it's too long not only will the casual Japanese viewers get bored of watching it all at once, but also some of us will have trouble doing so as well in all honesty. Had I watched 24 live, I would've probably had trouble getting through it all in one sitting despite how much I'd enjoy it. IMO it doesn't matter what you're watching or doing no matter how much you like it---5+ hours in a row of that thing is too much. Personally, 2-3 seems the best because although you may not get as many runs included in the broadcast, it still gives an efficient amount of time to go over most of the notable runs while still holding the audience's interests. Personally I'd have no problem with tournaments like 24 if they did something such as showing it in 2 or 3 parts over the course of a few days, because then you'd be able to both keep the audience interested and go over everything that you'd want to see.
What suprises me about the earlier tournaments though is that despite them being much shorter (usually 2 hours or less IIRC), we seemed to go over the same amount of notable runs in less time.
